Picky cat. Good so far
My cat is very picky when it comes to harnesses. She originally had a cheap one that fastens in the front and got so used to that. When the time came for a replacement, I had trouble finding one of those styles and realized that they don’t really make that design anymore because it puts pressure on their throat. So I tried the more popular design of a step-in harness and she hated that and shredded my hands. When it was on her she just laid down and acted like she couldn’t move. After that first try she wouldn’t go near it. Luckily I have two other more passive cats that can use that harness. I tried this one next. I was skeptical about putting it around her neck. She hissed once and bit at me but she is also dramatic. Once it was on she moved freely and went about her outdoor routine. I was worried about taking it off but that went smoothly and she backed out after I unbuckled it. So hopefully she continues to like this harness and adjusts to it because her previous one is old and not safe. I was worried about the sizing since her measurements were considered XS and she is an adult cat (although petite) but the XS is her fit and I wouldn’t want it any bigger.

Make sure to let your fur baby get used to the harness.
Worked great. We put it on Milo a little less tight than it should have been. But we were allowing him to get used to it. The next day we put it back on a little tighter. By the third day he had gotten used to it. He never slipped out of it. We moved across the state, and I didn't want him to be stuck in his carrier the whole trip. I had a wrist bungee keychain with carabiner that I wasn't using. So, I got Milo out of the carrier, attached the carabiner to Milo and put the bungee on my wrist. I could control him without using the long leash. It kept him contained to my lap,

Easily adjustable and comfortable
Great harness for cats. We don’t use the leash feature, but we have used it as a “thunder jacket” when our cats would get irritated with one another. We have a pink and a blue one. Currently, we are using one to protect an itchy spot on one of our cats back so it can heal enough for testing. She loves wearing it and doesn’t seem to mind having it on. However our other cat is a drama king. He flops over in it or just chooses not to move (it’s all an act. We catch him running around in it often). Overall, great harness. Easy to adjust and get on wiggly cats. Only downside is it can be a little difficult to clean.

Best cat harness you can buy in my opinion
Great durable harness for my medium sized shorthair cat of 8yrs the harness is easy and comfortable for my feline friend to wear the chest guard keeps her center of gravity from tugging or bolting and being able to attach the leash to her back allows for ease of walking while controlling her center of gravity although even at the two finger minimum width she was able to pull backwards enough to slip out of her harness luckily I have a Siamese calico mix who is smart enough not to flee fearfully into bushes and be lost forever she would much rather go back into her carrier for safety and hide than thatTldr summary: good for training and new pets breathable fabric controls your cats center of gravity but extreme struggling cats can and will be able to escape the harness at the collar so keep a backpack carrier on hand for walks to prevent a sudden loss of a pet in case of escape artists

Easy to use, but a tad big for my cat
I was initially very pleased with this cat harness. It proved to be incredibly easy to put on my 7-pound cat and adjust to what appeared to be a secure fit. The bright orange color is a definite plus, and the overall quality of the materials seems durable and well-made, suggesting good longevity. However, despite the ease of adjustment, I encountered a significant issue: my cat was able to pull herself out of the harness. While this could potentially be due to user error in how I secured it, it raises a serious concern regarding safety when considering outdoor use.

Perfect for monitored outdoor time
I had to trial and error with the sizes until I got the perfect fit for my kitties. It’s crucial to remain patient when trying the harnesses on for the first few times and take baby steps to introducing your kitties to the outdoors. My two cats adore going outside and they now know that harness = outside time. Super easy to adjust straps and fairly easy to get on a cat, once they get used to it. Also the leash seems pretty durable.

Good for girthy cats
Let me start by saying Fitzgerald does the absolute most in the car. He used to ride without a harness, but then he started jumping onto the dash while we were going down the highway and he’s too fuzzy to see around. The red harness is a different brand I got from Petsmart. He didn’t like it and had a meltdown as pictured. Not a hiss, just a really big meow. I’m sure he won’t appreciate me talking about his girth in a public forum, but he is a Maine Coon and weighs fifteen pounds (sixteen on a cheat day) so that Velcro type of harness didn’t hold him well and he could easily wriggle out of it. This one (the black) fits much more comfortably and securely. I like how the buckles hold him in without being too tight and the little loop that the leash attaches to is perfect for when I need to pull him off the wheel before we crash. He hasn’t wriggled out of it yet, but at the end of the day, cats are liquid and can get out of anything if they really want to. I feel much more confident, though, walking him in this one. Shockingly, the small fits perfectly.

Still escaped
Although it is a very nice item on the second day of use our cat did escape out of it. I ordered the right size. its as tight as it can be unfortunately since you have to slide it over her head in order to put it on then also mean she can get her head out of it. I feel like there should be clips on each side around the head/neck area so that you can tighten it once it's on and then clip her in and out of it. I feel like that would make it less escapable.
