Works perfectly for making clear infused vodkas
This cheesecloth is much finer woven, sheer, and stronger than any cheesecloth available at fabric stores and makes straining out liquids very simple. I used to have to strain multiple times to obtain a clear product, but with this cheesecloth one time does it. It also can be washed out and reused, but why bother! There is a huge amount in this package, two lengths of one yard wide (72 in. wide) x 4 yard (closer to 4.5 yds) long. It is so simple to chop up fruits and or flavorings in a jar, pour in enough cheap vodka to cover all, and let it sit for about 5 days. Pour through a double layer of cheesecloth and pour into a clean bottle. Adjust flavor by adding more vodka, syrup, spices. You can purchase nice glass flasks and labels online for gift giving!

Helps make fabulous stock.
I cut off pieces to tie up all of my spices and herbs when making chicken soup or stock. This way the broth doesn't get muddy and I don't have to strain it. My family says it's been the best broth I've made both times I've used the cheese cloth.

Durable and useful
I make a lot of homemade bone broths. I double up on this and the yucky stuff at the bottom of the pot gets strained right out, leaving me with delicious, clear soul warming broth. to clean I just rinse off the debris and throw into boiling water for about 5 minutes. for a deeper clean/deodorize I throw into the regular wash, in a small garment bag. Love that it's unbleached which makes feel feel it's more food safe. Also comes with a whopping 8 yards, and so far 1/3 yard has lasted me the better part of a year, with average use at once per week.

Nice product, much finer than the type you get at the store.
I was really impressed by the product for the price. It’s slightly cheaper than the bargain bin cheesecloth you buy at the grocery store but is much better quality. The mesh is finer and it feels sturdier.

Label incorrect
At first I was alarmed because the package label reads 4 SQ YDS. Upon opening the package, I do see two pieces of 4 square yards each. I guess the manufacturer did not bother printing another label for the 8 SQ YDS, and just throw a second piece of fabric in the bag instead. The product itself was fine. There were some minor tears, but I guess that was to be expected in this kind of cloth.

Wow this is a lot of cheese cloth, perfect for yogurt making
I'd always thought of cheese cloth as something to spend as little as possible on. I'd not realized that when you buy it at the dollar store you get a lot less and the quality isn't the same. I'm going to be able to strain a whole lot of homemade yogurt with this cloth, and I only use one layer; the cheaper stuff needed two or three layers to strain yogurt. Highly recommend for this use.

A must for Greek Yogurt makers
This cheese cloth is commonly called butter cloth. I use it for homemade yogurt which I like very thick. This butter cloth is so tightly woven it let's all the whey out but keeps the solids in. Would work for butter too.

Superb Customer Service- Read this review.
The cheesecloth had a strange odor and had to be washed prior to use. I have used cheesecloth for years, and I have never had to wash.Customer service reached out to offer a refund following this post, as well as stating that they have a new producer.Update, November 10th, the refund was fulfilled as promised. I have to say that I did not request a refund, however they offered. Customer service this fine is rare. I will do business again knowing they stand behind their products. Thank you!

A Winner For A Baker
I bake! I bake a lot, and I frequently bake loaves of bread and rolls for other people. Sometimes I get paid to bake, but mostly I do it for the love of those around me. Never mind the fact that very few people can resist the smell of fresh crusty bread or rolls.I often purchase brand new, fancy tea towels for wrapping my loaves of bread in to hand them to people. Of course, I get the tea towels back, but I find as time goes by they lose their attractiveness and I want something new again. Additionally, tea towels are too small and I need to use two or three to wrap a large loaf and what the loaf gains in flavour it loses in the presentation. I prefer not to wrap the bread in plastic wrap and paper doesn’t cut it for me either, so I have been on the lookout for a suitable solution such as this cheesecloth. The cheesecloth I received was 12 feet long by 3 feet wide. It was huge, no complaints from me as I cut it into three pieces, one large and two smaller lengths. The fabric is natural in colour, the texture is fine, although the smell out of the packet wasn't the best I took my cloth outside for a few minutes and the packaging smell went away. The plus for me is that I can reuse this, I haven't washed my cheesecloth yet but it looks like it would wash and dry easily.Would I recommend this product? Yes, I would, although I have yet to test it out for straining foods. I am happy with the cost in relation to what I need it for and the fact its natural and can be reused. All of these reasons make it a winner in my book.

Nice quality and lots of uses.
I make lots of fermented foods and wanted to make some small covers to go over my jars of kefir and kombucha during the fermentation stage, so I cut various sized squares to fit over different sized jars and hemmed each one. I also hemmed a couple of larger squares to sit over the bowl when my sourdough is proving. Nice quality fabric, and a decent amount for the money. Very pleased indeed!

Great
As a very kneen cooker, I was in need of some cheese clothes so I came across these. Firstly, I would like to say that the quality of these cloths are absolutely amazing as it is not only easy to wash but nothing sticks to them making them great to use.

Nice for squeezing apples
Its that fantastic time of year when I get my cider brewing and what's better than using fresh apples. This cheesecloth works really well for getting all the juice out the crushed apples. That's all I've used it for but I can assume itll handle cheese curds if it can handle the apples.
