These should go back to the design phase
Perhaps I missed a review or two where the glowing reviews for this product were not so glowing. I own and I have installed many of the Trijicon iron sights. Of the lot, these are by far their worst design. The Trijicon products for Glock all utilize a rectangular shape and they fit perfectly into the dovetail of the slide. The HK product (specifically HK610-C-600896 HD XR) utilizes a pentagonal shape on the rear sight and it only provides 3 points of contact to secure it in the dovetail. Through prolonged usage, the sight loses its alignment. My support call with Trijicon product support went like this, “Blah, blah, blah, send us your slide, sights, and $30 plus shipping and we will take look.” No, not, naaaaa... It’s easier just to scrap this product and go with a different.I opted to go with the TRUGLO TFX Pro sights instead.

Better than the pictures
I installed these sights on an HK USP9 compact and they fit perfectly. I'm delighted to say that the sight picture is better than all the photos indicate. I ordered the yellow rather than the orange and the giant yellow dot on the front stands out brilliantly with the U shaped rear sight letting it settle in like it's sitting in it's favorite chair. These sights are very easy to align and there seems to be just enough air between the front sight blade and the rear to have a crisp sight picture without feeling crowded. Needless to say that the original sights that came with the gun we just "blah" to me...these sights may return this gun to my top 5 list of favorites and desirous to carry again.

Old stock
The set sent to me was marked "11", which is the date of manufacture. This year is "16" so nearly half of the 12 year brightness guarantee is gone. Apparently, this set of sights is old stock sold as new.The photo on Amazon has a "13" which is a bit more reasonable. Disappointed. If I buy again it will be from the OEM for about $30 more, which is only about $6 per year of guarantee. For the price, the sights should have been a fresh set.The sights themselves are fine and the fit is tight. Night use shows three very small glowing dots that are a bit hard to see, but far better than no illumination at all. The dimness may be because of their old age.The yellow ringed front sight is very visible and easy to pick up in the daylight. The rear sight comes off as completely black in the daylight.I may return these even though they have been installed (with a professional installation tool).BTW, don't even think about hammering them in or using a punch. They are far to tight, precise, and delicate to try that method.

Ok sights for USP 45, wouldn’t buy again though
The sights are installed with relative ease, getting them zeroed takes quite a bit of time. Out of all the sights I have on my other pistols, these definitely give me the least amount of value for the money. The finish seems durable at least. But $140 for sights that shift when you rack the rear off of your belt, glow very dimly at night, and are difficult to pick up (Yellow Front Sight) day or night wasn’t my best investment. I would go the Truglo Tritium Pro route if they made them for the USP, but I guess I’m stuck with these in the meantime.

Definitely worth the money!
This is the second time I've bought a set of these. First time it was for a Glock 19 and they were wonderful. So I bought these based off of that experience and they have yet to disappoint. Already put 100rds through them and They hold perfectly. They're 10x better than the Mepro night sights I had on it previously.Pros:-Yellow dot can be seen easily during the day, and doesn't hinder any low light shooting.-U-notch allows for quick acquisition-Sturdy built, I've never once thought, "Oh man, I may break these"-They don't get hung up on my shirt when I pull from concealmentCons:-Sit a tad high(nitpicky, I know)-Pricey compared to other sights-Can't think of anything else

Excellent Customer Support from Trijicon
Love the sights so much I installed on all 3 of my competition VP9 pistols. I did have an orange ring disappear from front sight in a match this weekend and that was after only about 2,000 rounds. I just got off the phone with Trijicon and with no questions asked they are sending me a new front. That is great customer support.Edit; actually Trijicon sent a complete sight set so I now have a spare rear.

Simply amazing
These sights are better than can be described by a typed account. They've exceeded my expectations and I often wonder how I got this far without them. They are that good. It can be done without them for sure, I'm not saying you can't shoot without them. What I am saying is, they make sight alignment/picture easy mode. If you're looking for a no BS combat sight system for your handgun, especially your HK45, then these are hands down the best option out there. Very high visibility sight during the day, and pretty decent at night. The only lamps that have burned brighter at night are the Meprolights which I do still like, but these sights just got it right. The rear sight is angled well enough to aid in one handed manipulations and they're an all business setup. Great sight, and my wallet is crying as I'm choosing to outfit all of my pistols without night sights with the Trijicon HD's.

These sights are very nice, except the rear sight cut
These sights are very nice, except the rear sight cut. At the time of purchase no photo depicted the sharp edge that is present at the very top of the rear sight - this is counter productive for a weapon that may be used in a concealed carry situation. The edge is angled great enough that snagging loose clothing or other gear is a possibility. Most other companies that market sights designed for dual concealed carry/duty use angle the top of the rear sight towards the front of the weapon, thereby allowing snaggable items a better chance of sliding over the rear sight rather than being caught by the rear sight.Installation using a quality sight pusher was HARD. There was a bit of sweat making sure that the slide was not marred while having to apply a bit more effort to install than other Trijicon sights. If you are doing the install yourself, go slow and steady.
