HW251N SupraPlus Wideband Headset (64338-31)

Best headset I have owned. I use it daily and it outperforms every other headset I have used. It replaced a different headset I bought off Amazon which had the same rating and was 1/3 the price but there is no comparison - sound quality, noise rejection, fit and comfort, build quality are all great - and as a bonus I can use it with my cell phone or the VoIP phone at work by getting the right adapter. After owning the previous one for 2 months I ordered this one and recycled the "old" one. The previous one was a replacement for yet a different model which was also shoddy. Even at 3x the price of both of those, I consider this one cheaper than the bargain one since it has already lasted longer. I had to figure out and separately order the 3.5mm jack adapter, it would have been nice if there was a bundle or even a guide to the compatible adapters in the product listing. When I buy something on amazon.com, I don't just look at the star ratings, I also pay attention to how many of each star rating are recorded and I always read several of the one-star reviews. I didn't see any "red flags" in the reviews for the previous (now discarded) headset, so its a bit of a mystery why these two can be so closely ranked. My guess is a lot of people who like me who didn't like the other one must not have bothered to leave a bad review because it was so cheap (like $13). Just a guess. Plantronics does make a cheaper one which only works with a 3.5mm jack, and it worked well for me for several years but I eventually wore it out. The fit and construction of this one is superior to the cheaper one, but honestly if you don't need the different adapters I am pretty sure you would be happy with

It works anyway, output is fine but input a little noise, condition is 60-70 percent used, expected better quality at this price, it's in qd connecter you need get a 3.5mm jet adapter to connect to your mobile devices or pc.

As you read through these reviews, you find a common thread, all of us have tried a lot of different headsets and wasted a lot of money in the process. This headset has been excellent. Call quality is outstanding. People on the other end are not struggling to hear me or asking me to speak up. It is very comfortable for those long conference calls. I like the fact that the boom microphone rotates so that I can switch sides if I need to, or flip it up out of the way to grab a sip of coffee. Keep in mind that YOU MUST USE QUICKCONNECT ADAPTERS WITH THIS HEADSET. With the QuickConnect adapters (A10, 3.5mm, and 2.5mm) I can use this headset with every phone that I use to do my job. The adapters allow me to move between phones with different sized headphone jacks very quickly. I am hoping this will be my last headset for a while.

I bought this while anticipating what I would need for my new office and to go with the Panasonic two phone system that is also a piece of junk. Both are poorly made of cheap materials, sound like tin cans, don't work well together or separately. Again, I have only used it for three days and will give it away or throw it away with the other piece of junk that I bought from Panasonic and cant return.

What a nice headset. I needed one for when I work from home for those times I need to get on a call. I plug it in to a USB port (ordered the USB cable) and I really like it. Sound is great and it is comfortable. Did I say the wideband sound is fantastic? It doesn't come with a mute or volume control button, but those you can control with your laptop anyway with the click of a mouse. And I think that works better. All I can say is if you are unsure which headset to get, like I was, you will not regret this purchase. This is a really nice headset. Way better than the one that the company I work for provided. Buy it. Do it now!

I needed a headset to use at work with my Cisco IP phone so I checked out a couple of different brands and decided to go with this one. It’s easy to hook up and connect and I’m able to hear calls clearly. I’ve also asked callers if they can hear me speaking clearly through the boom mic. Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Great headset to use if you need to keep your hands free for multi-tasking while talking. They don’t tell you this up front, but you will likely need the Plantronics Amplifier Coil Cord so you can connect it to your Cisco phone’s headset jack. I knew this ahead of time cause I did my research.

This product comes as promised. It's light and made of quality materials. I ordered one for my cousin who works in a bank call center and he says it's perfect. His friends tried it and they liked it too so I ordered two more for them and that's how much they are pleased about it. The only downside is the Mic extension, it's not flexible enough yet it's not a big deal because the sound quality it collects is very clear.

For a relatively inexpensive, wired headset, these have performed very well for us in our office. We have Polycom VVX400 phones at the moment, with the RJ11 headset jack--these plug right in and work properly. We have some deal-ear versions of this same headset too and love them. We do IT support so we're always at our desk so we didn't really need wireless. They are lightweight and not bulky so is comfortable to use for those extra long support calls we love so much. Also I highly recommend getting the Plantronics A10 Direct Connect cable to turn these headsets into audio headphones via USB on your PC. Everyone has this adapter cable so if they need to listen to a video or webinar, they can essentially plug their telephone headset into their PC. Works for Skype for Business/Lync too for two-way conversations. I will buy these again for future employees for sure.... -m
