Didn't work for our bike
We bought these for our granddaughter's 18" bike. We are not exactly mechanically inclined, so we took it to a bike shop to have them put on. The bike shop said they would not fit the bike because of the position of the chain guard, & we didn't want to remove the chain guard for fear of our granddaughter getting her pants caught in it. Since Amazon has such a terrific return policy, I attempted to send them back. My purchase price was promptly refunded, but I was told not to bother returning them! I can only assume that it would have cost as much for them to pay for shipping as the product was worth. Even though we could not use this on the bike, I still gave it 3 stars because the product seems to be well made, has cute decals for your choice of a girls or boys bike, & because of the customer service. I'm sure I can find someone who will be able to use these & I will give it to them.

Stickers held their color even after being stored outside all ...
Stickers held their color even after being stored outside all winter. Had to hose clamp and tape the perpendicular support bars in place, otherwise held up very well over the last year for our very active 35lb 5-year old on a bike with 16" tires

Needs some adaptations
Training wheels are easy right? Not so much. You dont just put the wheels on.... you have to give them enough support to not turn from a position of being on the road... to some other position causing your child to crash and burn. Because of this - Schwinn gives you little support bars, but unless your bike fits perfectly between the black plastic protectors its not a very study system. I found that taking a set of pliers and bending the fingers around the bar finally kept it from falling off... but I will say my child had one or two crashes before hand.

Great product an extra safety feature.
These are great! I also like the fact that they come with little plastic caps on the adjustment bar that you bolt to the back of the bike. Little legs do find their way back there and other training wheels do not have the safety cap feature. They are very good quality, so if they cost a little bit more than the others I would still suggest buying them. Very happy with these training wheels.

Not perfect, but not awful
It's not bad for the price. It is adjustable, but you have 3 choices for the top bracket whereas some other options have a simple opening which allows for a more custom adjustment. The wheels are also plastic which doesn't give me much hope for longevity but they could be fine. I do like the support brace that fastens to the bike frame and the training wheel brace. Not many seemed to offer that.

Made it work
The wiheels themselves seem a very flimsy plastic, time will tell if they hold up. The instructions (as noted by another reviewer) may have been written in English, but they might as well have been Greek for all the help they gave us. After fiddling around to figure out the proper way to attach theses to the bike, we found that they kept the rear wheel of the ground slightly. We double checked that we bought the right size (we had!) This rendered the bike useless, so we played some more with the wheels and tightened them into an angled position. This is not how they are supposed to be, but the bike works and is safe, so we will stick with it. It's just not worth telling the kid he has to wait longer while we find better training wheels. Now that we've actually been using these . . . they are HORRIBLE! One wheel broke off completely within a couple of weeks, and the other will not stay in place properly. Too many falls and "push me please!" requests. We had used these to replace wheels that were on from an older child and showed wear. I cannot find the old style for sale, so went with these. VERY DISAPPOINTED. Will have to find new ones, and meanwhile what's a four year old without a bike?

The product is good but it is too short for 20" bike.
I like the product but it is not fit for the 20" bike, the longer leg is too short. It needs a little bit longer then what it is now about 5" long. It should bet at least 7" to 8" long with more sizing hole options ( for 12", 14", 16", 18" and 20"+ )

Does not fit 20 inch bike
too small for 20 inch bike. There is a 1/2 to 1 inch clearance at the bottom. Then I wasted a good hour looking at the directions and YouTube to insure that I installed correctly, which I did. Many bike people on YouTube recommended not even using training wheels and just learning to ride a bike. Something to consider. The stickers are cute, but the training wheels do not work.WE were driving by a Fred Meyer so stopped and bought the only pair of training wheels that was on the shelf. The cost was between $16 and $17 and was also advertised as fitting a range of bikes. They were easy to install and actually fit, with room to spare. They are not perfect - they are flimsy and still can move front to back, but at least they work and my kid can ride their bike . So, if you have a 20 inch bike, I recommend shopping around and getting something else. These will probably be just fine for bikes under 20 inches, but I have not tested that so do not know for sure.
