Came with everything I needed to install it minus a hole saw. I used a 1 1/4" hole saw. Might be able to get away with something slightly smaller like 1 1/8 but worked great with that size hole. Installed it into a 1" thick wooden dash board and was able to get the back nut on just fine.Tested its power draw. With nothing connected to it, it was drawing 10ma will on, and my multimeter showed nothing when it was off. My meter only goes down to 10 ma so its possible its drawing something, but to little for my meter to measure.Tested my phone plugged into it, according to my battery app the phone was pulling in 1706ma (1.7amps) which charged my phone from just about dead to around 50% in under an hour. I didn't have 2 cables handy so didn't get a chance to test it with 2 phones simultaneously but if its capable of delivering that kind of power on both ports simultaneously like it says then this thing is great. It will be very popular on our multi day camping trips in the future. I'll probably be installing a 2nd one on the drivers side of the boat when I get a chance.Really liked it had the connectors and fuse all wired up and ready to go. The round terminal plugs fit great on my boats buss bar. Also looks very nice while lit and the rubber gasket seems to be secure I don't think water will get inside it. Either way my boat is an open top bow rider and it will inevitably get caught out in a rain storm at some point. I'll know for sure thenI will update my review if I find an issue with it down the line but so far this thing appears to be great value for the money.

I did with this what I do in all new to me vehicles...update the accessory power port to a USB charging port. All you need to do is remove the factory power port, install this USB charging port, and in most cases, the existing wires hook up without need to alter.Now I have high speed charging for my car, without having to push the plug back in as I drive. This can also be used with some better retracting charging wires, so when you unplug, you can automatically reel in the cords, so they aren't in the way for the next time you get in.***UPDATED FOR UPGRADE***I purchased the newer, upgraded port with switch. It, too, works perfectly. The switch is great for those that wired into an unswitched circuit, like I did on my second vehicle.Bear in mind that the device is larger than the hole for traditional power ports or cig lighters, which is where many mount them. The hole will need enlarged to 1-1/8" diameter to fit the body. Harbor Freight sells a cheap step drill bit that can easily handle the job in plastics and thins metals.

Installed this in my vintage car so I would no longer need to use the cigarette lighter port to charge my phone and eliminate having a cord dangling from my dash. I installed it inside my console compartment so it's out of sight and the blue light does not interfere with looks of my classic dash. Installation was easy. I just tapped into an existing fuse using a fuse tap and ran the wire from there to the unit. I grounded it to an existing ground screw right underneath the compartment. I easily removed the cover that came with it since it is concealed and protected inside the compartment. Now I have a place to stow my phone and charge it at the same time. And because I tapped into a fuse that is only hot when the key is in the on or accessory mode, I never need to worry about it being left on and draining the battery when the car is turned off.

So I only have one complaint about this item and it’s a small one. I mounted this on my golf cart so I could charge my phone, etc if needed. When I turn the cart on, it comes on. You don’t notice this because the dust/moisture cover, blocks your ability to see that the light is on. If I remember, I turn it off just to save battery life. I can’t imagine it is really pulling much power but it is just a concern. It does have a button to turn it off, so again it is a really minor issue. It looks great and the one time I have used it, it worked great.

I like this thing and hope the on/off feature keeps working. It's a touch button, meaning it doesn't move at all. I've had bad luck with this type of switch in the past but lets hope for the best. My complaint is it's too bright for a dash at night. This is happening with a lot of dash gadgets. Just because you can design LED's into everything and they are cheap, doesnt mean you need to take it so far! I may try to open mine and take one out since it looks like there might be a few in there giving out all this light. Or I might be able to add a resistor.

Replaced the existing power outlet in a 2008 Honda CR-V. Just took the old one out, removed the OEM plastic plug from the wiring, and popped the wires on the new one. It fit snug enough to probably not need the jam nut on the back, but I used it anyway as I had access. So if you can't access the back, you may not need to along as you can access the wires enough. The on/off switch is useful, you just touch it to turn it off/on. Automatically turns on when vehicle is started. Better than the power point alone, more practical for todays uses. Vehicle still has two additional power outlets so no loss there.

I used this USB Charger for my HD Street Glide, I replaced the cigarette lighter w it on the inner fairing. Because the Diameter was about .200" too big for the hole, I had to enlarge it some, but no worries because if I ever have to place it, 99% of them are around the same size so it'll still work fine.Now my bike can charge my phone while I'm cruising!! Very good product so far!!

This new version has a on off switch and LED Indicator Light, very easy to use and see when you are driving. The best part I like that is the Splashproof & Dustproof, not only can avoid the water, drinks, and also keep away from the dust.My family has 4 iPhone and 1 iPod, every time when everybody on the car, we have to take turns to use the USB charger, the Dual USB Fast Charger Socket solved my problems. There are two 2.1 A fast USB charger ports and waterproof as well. I tested with my iPhone XR to charger on the car, it is much faster than my previous cigarette light USB charger.

I bought two of these. Installed one in the dashboard of my motorhome so I could use my phone as a satnav on long journeys. I was going to install the other in the back of the van later. Installation went OK and the on/off touch sensor worked OK giving a blue light. A few days later I plugged in my phone and as soon as I did the socket went dead, never to come back on again. I hadn't got round to installing the second one (thankfully). I returned both to Amazon for a refund, luckily with one day to spare. Rubbish, I wouldn't recommend you buy these.Update/edit: I have now found out that the problem was not with this device, it was a poor earth/ground that caused a voltage drop/resistance which caused the malfunction. Idiscovered this when I installed another device from a different manufacture and had the same problem. This made me investigate the wiring properly and found the grounding problem. I had returned the device and was contacted by the seller who was very concerned that I had had problems . The level of customer service was excellent, the company is keen to ensure that their customers receive a properly functioning and reliable product. Well done, praise where praise is due.

It is a direct replacement for the cigarette lighter on my mk6 Fiesta. Fits perfectly so it is just a case of removing the hoop connectors and replace them with spade connectors and the same to the connector in the car. The only problem with this is it interfers with the music playing from your phone to your stereo via aux for 5-6 seconds when on or off charge (sounds like music is played under water). Not sure why but seems to be feed back from the charger.

Exactly as described, feels robust, on/off switch works well and charges devices quickly as stated. In the package you also get the fused connection leads and couple of female spade connectors. Very pleased and happy to recommend.

Works well, looks cool and allows for my daughter to have power at her bedroom on a 12v based houseboat. I really like it as a quick solution to adding charging capacity by your bed in a boat cabin.

Good product. Easy to fit and use. Switches off and on easily and blue lights are not too bright. Charges an iPhone well. Locking ring was a bit flimsy and I could have easily broken it. Apart from that, installed and working just fine.
