Read me !
I'm not an expert when it come to optics. I can say that the reviews in this seem to be correct . I've only used it at 25 yards so far. It is a nice clear picture and magnified the little 22 caliber holes like I was holding the Target up to my face. Like other reviewers wrote , I'm sure this scope will do well with farther distances . This was a nice affordable way of getting rid of the cheapy binoculars I was using. I couldn't believe the prices on some of the high end models. Really now? If your looking to see little holes in paper this will do it clearly for you. In my opinion ,It will also do well as a nature watching scope. It may not do well if your trying to see the American flag on the moon. The only minor issue I found was that twist handle that locks the scope into position, has to be snugged down good or the scope will move out of position. The scope itself seems to be good quality. The tri pod does its job but doesn't seem to match the quality if the scope that it holds. Bottom line is that it appears to be a good scope at a great price. It also came with a handy carry bag that has a little devider to keep the tri pod and scope from rubbing together. This was the un expected icing on the cake for me. Yup! Ya can't beat that with a stick. The surprise bag kept me from taking off a star for the minor tri pod issue. I say buy it !

Glad I pulled the trigger on this one. ;)
I bought this a while and wanted to take it to the range a few times before leaving a review. I have used a lot more expensive scopes than this one. My shooting budy has a Celestron just a more expensive one. He had good experiences with their customer service so, I felt a little better about the brand than others. My son also has a telescope by Celestron. They make some pretty good stuff. At the range I typically spot at 100 yards for my .308 and .223. I hunt with my .308 so it needs to be dialed in. I normally use one of the targets that you can get from Wal-Mart that has a red center dot, black ring around that, then green rings that lighten up until white on the outside. When shooting my .223 at 100 yards I was able to see every round that was on the red, black, green, or white. I purposly shot in different areas of the target just to see how well it would show up with this scope. Everything was easy to see. I could adjust the focus to see clearly with or without my glasses on(I have pretty bad eyes). We moved targets up to 50 yards and my buddy was shooting his .22 at that range. He was shooting on a white target with orange bull's eyes. All of his shots were easy to see. Just a little adjustment and there you have it. One review said that someone was using this scope past 100 yards. You may be able to do that with a larger round and some of those splatter targets but the targets I was using and with a smaller round like the .223, you would be pretty hard pressed to do that. I dropped a star for that.As far as everything that comes with the scope, the tripod is awesome. I know a guy who bought one of those cheep Barska scopes. His you can't see out to 100 yards, the the tripod was a piece of junk. The one with this scope is really nice. The swivel arm is nice and works really well. The scope is well built. The case is nice.Overall a great buy, I'm glad I purchased this scope. I plan to use it for a long time.

Awesome for the price. Don't expect miracles.
You're reading a review of a fifty dollar spotting scope... This thing isn't going to let you see a flea on a hawks back at a 1000 yards, but it is totally usable for spotting your hits on target at 100-150 yards. Honestly I am really happy with this thing. I don't value spending mega bucks on something I rarely use, and primarily use this just to zero my rifles and punch paper at 100ish yards. The tripod is junk, but it WORKS. The case is also junk, but guess what, it also works! It's very small and compact, so it doesn't take up extra room in my bag or among my shooting supplies. I read a ton of el-cheapo spotting scope reviews and this seemed to be the most reasonable bang for my buck (really only willing to spend 50 or 60 of them).

Pretty good value for the price.
Clear image across the entire field of view and a reasonably bright image. It focuses with or without my glasses with range to spare. The mist significant issue for me is that the focus shifts when you zoom, which makes it show to use when zooming in or out. The tabletop tripod is better than most, but it's a bit difficult to lock in place without shifting. Overall, it's better than other scopes in its price range.

Not for people who wear glasses for astigmatism! Otherwise, excellent
An excellent scope, but not for viewers with glasses for astigmatism. This is a nice scope, easy to use and the provided tripod is quite sufficient for the magnification. At full magnification, looking 300 yards into my back yard, the image had uniform flat focus and no discernible chromatic aberration (what all the cheap scopes have). However, if you wear glasses for astigmatism, and you must use your glasses with telescopes and binoculars (I do), this is NOT for you. There is very little eye relief, so if you wear glasses, your field of view is about 1/3 that of without glasses. This makes it useless to me. I was very sad to return it. If you are just near or farsighted (spherical correction only), then you can still use this without your glasses. Highly recommend at the $50 price I paid.

Great for its price range
The price is right. Good little scope. I use it for terrestrial use (birds, squirrels, etc) and the views are mostly good. The focus does get a bit soft after 25x zoom, but that's to be expected at this price. The tripod is actually quite sturdy (and metal)...not a cheap plastic thing. If I want to mention any negatives, it would be: the screw to hold the rotation seems likes it wants to break into the scope. And the focus "knob" is on the body...not the eye piece (maybe I'm too used to telescopes, where the focus is near the eyepiece).Great for its price range

Excellent value for money
I already own a more expensive and powerful scope, but needed something a little smaller for a holiday. Bought this 10x30 as a punt at the price, but was amazed by its quality when it arrived. Really clear from 10 through to 30 and so light and compact, exactly what I was after.

This product is fine but it is not sufficient to meet the 50 m rifle shooting purpose. It can't show the bullet holes in low light.

Eine gute Wahl.
Sehr gutes verzerrungsfreies Spektiv!
