Great Beginner Book
I really appreciated the information, as I felt like I needed to know certain things about security. I believe anyone that's sane should read this book!

A very useful and complete introduction to this complex subject.
Very recommendable according to the above mentioned expectations. Very understandable and concise. Well written with a reasonable stock of examples.

Basic understanding of main cybersecurity and computer topics
The book contains some valuable information around (cyber-)security topics, but from the headline of the book, I was expecting that the author would have gone a little more deeper into subjects and topics being analyzed. Also, the book is easily readable and digestible.

The basics
This book was good to get your head around what Cyber security is and as well as little excerpts from history about cyber security in real life and people being imprisoned for being too intelligent. There is alot of vocabulary and definitions with them to get the reader up to speed with the terminology used in web and networking. Also descriptions of white and black hat hacking and how blurry the line is between them hence people being too smart for there own good and getting arrested. The author is really cool too just trying to spread the knowledge making this free for all of us just trying to get our foot in the door.

Excellent content and easy reading.
If you are interested on modern topics as Cybersecurity, this is a must read option. Excellent and updated content about specific topics. A great overview of well known terms without having much technical background. I recommend it widely!

Don't waste your money on this book.
This is the very worst book on cybersecurity I've ever read, And I've read lots of them. It is superficial to the max. It does not cover basic yet important material that every beginner should know. It is of no help whatsoever to beginners who want, for example, to protect their home computers and to understand what their proper roles are in cybersecurity in the organization(s) for which they work. There is nothing about types of attacks, how to prevent attacks, how to recover if breached, policies and practices needed to ensure proper cyber hygiene, and more and more! And, what is discussed is glossed over (most chapters are just a few pages long). At the end of the book, there is glossary of common cybersecurity terms and jargon but hardly all of these terms are used in the text, and, when they are used, they are often not defined for the reader. I could go on, but it would be overkill. Do not buy this book. It is really awful.
