It is what it is. I wanted to try and use it for a guitar input into my phone. I didn't work for that, heads up to all fellow guitarists. It is simply a headphone jack/adapter for 7 bucks. Not a very good value when you can buy it much cheaper. However, it is built well. I'm gonna keep it, but if you read this as a fellow musician, don't see it as a something else than it is ; ) As a matter of fact, i had a similar plug at home without the little extension. Dang it. Anyway, value for money is 4 stars ; )

I listen to music and watch movies with Sennheiser 599 SE headphones. I've been connecting those using a coiled cable I bought over 10 years ago. Noticed recently that the sound seemed to jump in/out in one of the ears and decided it was time to try a new cable, so I ordered this MillSO cable. The cable arrived nicely packaged, and the materials had a high-quality feel on unpacking. Cable was supple, and connectors looked very nice. When I connected the headphones, the connector had a very nice, snug grip and the male end of the cable had a nice snug fit into my A/V box. Then I turned on the sound...wow! I was amazed at how much better my headphones sounded with this new cable. Being sure that I was probably just imagining, I switched back to the old cable, then back to the new cable. No question, sound was significantly better with the new cable. I know part of that was how bad the old cable was, but some of it has to be because of how good the new cable is. The manufacturer (MillSO) followed up with an email to make sure I got everything ok, and offered an 18-month extended warranty at no additional cost. I'm very pleased with this cable, highly recommend it. Just wish I had gotten it sooner!
