resolution is 1 PPM but accuracy in 0-100 range is +-20%, so Mfg states it is tested at 25 PPM as the lowest level it can accurately sense. so you'll have to pay a lot more for 10%

can i leave on table to continuously scan or do i need to be pressing a button ?

it does update in real time but it has an auto power down feature that turns it off after a few minutes of inactivity. Not sure if this can be disabled or not.
