Why did you pick this product vs others?:Absolutely perfect for my rechargeable fake candles and also worked great in my moose nightlight! I really appreciate the subtle flame colour that these give off compared to the regular clear or white bulbs.

Someone who reviewed these named "smag". That review is why I purchased these and im glad I did. Everyone has their own thing to say in each review and they are all helpful but this one nailed it with what was most important to me was color temperature that's equal to the incandescent bulbs that these are replacing!. That's right I wanted that classic look and feel but in a LED bulb that wasn't hardly burning any electricity and stays cool to the touch. I got the 2200k and my reasoning was LED are slightly off on ratings across the board in ratings compared to incandescent in both color temperature and in lumens (brightness). All I wanted was something near identical to the classic bulb at 2700k so assuming the 2700k may be slightly off i figure if I get the 2200 it will look near identical to the classic 2700 and boy does it!. The only problem these bulbs can not get rid of and that's with any LED is what I call the "big ugly yellow filament" there is no way around it. The classic bulbs filament was hardly visible and now LEDS no matter what brand have an obvious yellow filament in a clear bulb that sticks out like a sore thumb, however this is only when the bulb is off and when turned on you cant notice it and it looks like a normal light, a helpful tip if you get the 2200k the glass itself has a slight tint to it that some what hides the ugly yellow filament. I've included pictures of this one and another LED brand for comparison and this brand is best.

Amber glow, but could be a bit less bright. If you're looking for a bold, amber light then these are great!! They are really nice in windowsill electric candle lights. No complaints. But...if they start to offer this exact bulb only frosted, I'd have a new favorite!

Brand new, so no inkling yet on longevity but I like the way they look! Closer to the incandescent look than the white one which is nice.

I’m hearing a lot of negative feedback about LED bulbs and the unintentional side effects, but these worked well in our Christmas decor and shaved a lot of energy use.

For my window candles, looking for a very low and very warm led. These were absolutely perfect. Color is warm like a candle and low lumens give the candle glow.

Like several other reviewers, I have window candles in my windows year-round - nearly 20. I’ve spent over 15 years running around replacing burned out incandescent bulbs every few months at a cost of about $80 per year for the bulbs alone. I didn’t know that LED bulbs existed for standard window candles that produced a bright and soft white light until my neighbor, an architect, recommended these after I complimented him on the lights in his windows. These are indistinguishable from incandescent and I would say produce a more attractive light. Note that they are smaller than your typical window candle bulb - think night light - but it makes no difference in the brightness of the light. I have the 8 hour timer variety window candles so that the bulbs don’t burn for 14 hours in the winter. When my incandescent bulbs would burn out, I had to be home to replace them at the same time that I wanted them to turn on. I’ll need to do the same with these, but they will burn out many, many more months later but I’ll write back with my experience. Finally, If you add the considerable energy savings of LED, you hit a home run with these bulbs.Update: Going on 3 years and haven’t had to replace a single bulb. Dump your incandescent window candle bulbs - this is the only way to go if you want to save time and money.
