Q: want to know if this will fit a mercury 9.9 2 stroke motor ?

It did not work on my Sazuki 9.9. I wound up adapting the Universal Motor Engine Flush Flushing Kit with some brass elbow connections and it works ok. The problem is there is not enough clearance between the water intake fin and the prop. Even the Marine store I bought my motor stated that the one they sell does not work too good. Hope that helps!
