Developed in collaboration with the Grammy winning sound engineer Young Guru, this preset has been configured with a powerful, high-sensitivity neodymium S04 speaker unit that delivers a vibrant and detailed sound representation. The combination of the comfortable H71 nylon headband and the E05 over-ear microfiber ear pads, results in a wide soundstage and excellent comfort.

Such headphones very wow.
A little original perspective here. I have used a pair of Audio Technica MH50's for something like 6 years and finally got sick of the insane amount of pressure they put on my ears. That being said i have had a ton of great experiences with durable headphones over the years and was initially a bit hesitant on purchasing a pair of AIAIAI's due to the reoccurring issue of headbands snapping on the TMA-1's. I had been looking at the Young Guru TMA-1's for well over a year now just because the sound profile seemed perfect for doing a bit of recording and djing on the side and the memory foam earpieces sounded like a dream come true.I have to say the comfort factor of these headphones is PHENOMENAL, i have never worn a pair of headphones that fit my head so naturally. Every DJ headphone i've ever had has given me major listening fatigue, these are not the case at all. The Earpieces and headband fit like a f*cking dream. The audio quality is decent as well but actually favors the bass end of the spectrum a little more than i would like, luckily the audio profile feels wide enough that i can space out instruments well enough and still hear details in the mid to high spectrum. Initially i was a little worried that the slight tune on the bass profile would suffocate the other frequencies but was pleased to learn that there was still enough breathing room to master highs and mids well. Overall i'm willing to wager that these are not the dream headphones for a million dollar studio, but for a guy like me they are everything i could have dreamed of. My only lasting concern is the durability of the components and only time will tell here, luckily since these things are modular i don't have to sweat it too bad if a component goes out and to aiaiai's credit they were pretty good about the band headbands in the TMA-1 it seems.

Excellent
I love these headphones. Accurate, fast, lively, totally good for professional work, and yes, they are on the warm side, but you already know if you like this and it doesn't take away from the precision at all.Amazing when paired with an ODAC. You don't need a dedicated dac and amp, but you should have it anyways because they will upgrade your experience.

SEX ON YOUR EARS
Coming from the AT-M50's these were a totally different story.Big difference with the comfort & ergonomics. 10/10As far as speaker quality, id say its a little warmer than the m50's with great bass presence. It might not be a totally true flat response but accurate.

Another excellent set of cans!
Second pair on TMA headphones. I had the 1's for almost 5 years. Unfortunately I lost them after a gig or else I'd probably still have them. USE: Regular DJ use, 2-3 gigs a week, over the course of a year. These have held up incredibly well. My only suggestion would be to get the leatherette on ear pads for DJ use. I enjoy the over ear for listening and production use but I sometimes would lose the kick drum when used in a club application. Well made, wide soundstage, comfortable and versatile. I've pre-ordered the wireless bluetooth headband and I cannot wait to try it out. AIAIAI you've got a fan for life.

I love these headphones
I love these headphones! Was using Beatport editon before and can confirm these are much and much better! Excellent overal sound, clear highs and deep base. The most I like in this model is super soft headband and cushions, so I can use them for several hours with no problem.

Don't do it...!
So purchased these and upon first listen they sounded great. Loved the fit and all and love the fact that you can switch out the parts when they go out. I DJ on the regular so two weeks in at one of my gigs the sound goes in and out. So I'm fidgeting around with every part of the headphone hoping that it's just something loose. To my surprise one side goes out. The other side works fine. So immediately I contact the store I got them from and make my way there. At first they weren't trying to help but then contacted Aiaiai and they told me to go to the store I bought them from. So I went back and finally they help give me a whole new pair. Cool I felt like that would be the end. 3 weeks later same go round. Contact Aiaiai and to no avail they are on radio silence. So I pretty much come to the conclusion I'm screwed. So I figure I write this review to tell you stand clear DO NOT BUY THESE. I dunno if the shop I got them from got bad batch but just the way everyone involved handled this situation just turned me off. I heard bad reviews of the first pair of Aiaiai but figure they would work out the kinks on these but pretty much you guys got me.....hopefully the Sony HDJ-2000's I just ordered will do me fine. Also these don't even come with a case so keep that in mind when ordering to but on the real save your money go another route.

Amazing concept and sound
Amazing modular concept. Great clear and powerful sound suitable to all style of music. Would have been great ,as an option, to come with all the ear pads included (at a discounted price) because each ear pad type does really transform the listening experience and comfort and they aren't that cheap to buy separately (I bought 3 pairs so far it's starting to add up...). Other things to consider: The cans are flexible in all directions and sit well on (or around) your ears but they don't fold or swivel (like dJ classic headphone), the product is really tough but I wouldn't say indestructible either (essentially high grade plastic with a great rubberised finish that will probably get superficially scratched with time and use -personally I don't mind it but it might put off those who want their stuff to remain pristine for eternity- , they are also a bit "clampy" on the head so if you have a large head you should try them before buying and choose the ear pads option wisely (having said that those coming with the guru set are probably the most comfortable). More on the sound: The S04 are very sharp neodynium drivers with good tight and warm bass (not overwhelming) and a relatively flat response overall out of the box (which is a good thing unless you are a bass head I guess) and you don't need and amp to drive them. Finally the modularity of this kit means that if a better drivers (or one with a different signature) is being released in the future (on top of the existing range) you can easily buy them and swap them for a lot less than buying whole new pair of headphones, so again hat down to AIAIA for pioneering this concept, it's fun and most importantly it works very well.

Fantastic
What an excellent pair of headphones, I have purchased many headphones in my time as a sound engineer but these are by far the best. They’re about as close to having the ability to mix (accurately) on the move. Much prefer these over the DT 990’s and other models

Time to listen - first soundcheck - high hopes!Urgs!!!Huh! Das sollte nun der geniale Sound sein?! Habe ich da Watte in den Ohrhörern?Wichtig ist, den Beipackzettel zu beachten!Vierundzwanzig Stunden soll man dem Kopfhörer Zeit geben:'We therefore recommend that you give them up to 24 hours of low to moderate volume play before subjecting them to critical use'.Also habe ich in einer Endlosschleife eine nach meiner Meinung 24 Stunden geeignete Musik spielen lassen. Sinn kommen mag :)).
