The 4th time was the charm. This is my 4th order for an AB MAT and I finally hit on one that was not hard as a rock. I got a Rage Fitness, then a Yes4All, and then a DMoose and all three were hard as a rock. Horrible under my back. I decided to next try this BALANCEFROM as several of the reviews indicated it wasn't as hard as most. And sure enough, it is softer. Not so much so as to make it worthless, but just right. My guess is the foam may be a little lesser quality so I hope it holds up over time. Appears to be made well all the way around. I just wish it was wasn't quite as tall and then it would be perfect. For finding the best AB MAT for my back, I was also very surprised at the low cost. So overall I would say this is a great value for the money. So happy I FINALLY found one that didn't feel like I was laying on a curb.

Seems to be the same quality as the ones at my CrossFit gym. Time will tell if it lasts, but they give a 2-year warranty, so you can't go wrong with this one. Take note that it is not 2 inches thick as per the description, but 2.75 inches thick (7cm). Firm enough, I expect it to break in at some point, but it will be fine if it stays the same as now. Overall, it's pretty nice, comfortable, and does the job. Super happy with the purchase.

I feel it could be thicker. After some crunches, my back starts hurting.

Great product. Good quality. Abs are for spine flexion. This product helps really isolating abs during the crunches eliminating all the hips movements which take away from actually working your abs.
