Great for price.
Nothing to lose by buying this I thought, and so glad I did. It's given me some things I will carry for the rest of my life and as for the rest I cant remember? It'll be there for me when I re-read.Littered with spelling mistakes for some reason but you'll get the gist of it.

Poor edition
This edition of a wonderful book was disappointing. There are no page numbers and the book is not divided into chapters.I found several printing errors too. There was no publisher in the book either.Dale Carnegie is a brilliant motivator, but this edition of his book was poor.

Great stuff at the start
Gets very outdated in the second half of the book. I'm not sure some of the things he states as fact are regarded as true in today.

Get a magnifying glass if you want to read this.
Dreadful, outdated and difficult to read. Even the small text starts to hurt your eyes after a while. Personally found this pure common sense. Written in a style by someone who understands the subject matter but not how to convey it. Why on earth is it written in microscopic type face and why does it go on and on and on, get to the point...

Like listening to an old friend
I really like this book and I've looked at it so much in the last 10 years or so that it's starting to fall apart. From the stories I think it was written in 1930s America during the depression, so some people might find it boring or off-putting, but for me it's like listening to an old friend telling stories about how people overcame real worries and hardships when they were down on their luck. Yes it's a bit religious and old fashioned in parts, but that's just the author telling things from the heart. I hadn't really noticed the religious bits, it's just how people of that generation used to be. I don't understand the reviewers that say it doesn't give any real advice, as every chapter is chock full of advice that really works. I wouldn't say it was life changing for me, but if things are getting me down, say at work, I go back to this book and there's sure to be something in there that is similar to my situation. I can't comment on this particular edition, this review is for the content of the book.

Dale Carnegie the edition shown was not the edition received.
The book was delivered on time. Well packaged. However it was not the 2006 edition as shown but a 1991 edition which I was disappointed to receive. As I already have 2 books of the 2006 editions, I wanted a third to add to the same collection.
