Can't say anything about the results yet because I just drank my first glass of it, but I had been on the fence about it because of all of the comments saying it tasted bad... it tasted almost like nothing. I definitely agree that the color is stronger than usual but it tastes the same as any other unflavored psyllium I've ever had, which is to say it mostly tastes like gritty nothing. Maybe put more water in if it seems too strong tasting? I do go for about 12 ounces of water in mine.

I like this It's Just Orange Flavor Psyllium Powder. I have only been using psyllium for a few months due to severe gastro issues. I was using another unflavored brand and was choking it down, but thought I would give this brand a try. I am so glad I did. I think this It's Just orange flavor is pretty mild tasting. Not nearly as gritty and nasty a flavor as the other one. I put the powder into my glass first then add about a few tablespoons of warm water and stir like crazy to get the lumps out then I add another 10-12 oz water to the glass, stir some more, the I begin to sip and stir, sip and stir, until I have drank it all. It has worked really great for the past few days and my bowel movements have been good. I think you will like this product.

Best product I’ve found!!! I tried Metamucil but it didn’t work for me!! This stuff since day 1 has worked wonders!!! I have pain issues and the pain meds were causing bad constipation!! I haven’t gone a day without going since I started!!! No need for all the additives in other products I’ve tried!!! Some people on here have complained about the taste of the plain psyllium but I think it tastes almost like nothing!! A little nutty taste if anything!!! Goes down easily!!!

This is the best priced and highest rated psyllium husk I could find on Amazon. it works as intended, however it tastes awful. I try to mask the flavor with various things and there's just no getting around it. The taste is terrible. I will say that I have yet to find a psyllium husk that tastes good. No texture and full of health benefits and nutrients however it's really hard to get past the awful flavor of this stuff.

In as few words as possible: It works. When I had problems with, um, you know, my doctor told me to add fiber with a psyllium product. I doubted her and thought I had plenty of fiber in my diet, but she said I had to do this before she would try anything else such as a pharmaceutical. But, if you just choose a name brand fiber product with psyllium, most if not all will include maltodextrin. You can google it, but maltodextrin wreaks havoc with your blood sugar level. I kept on scrolling and found this. Yes, it is just psyllium. Also, it is one of the few or only psyllium product that is honest about it not dissolving in water. None of them will. I added it to oatmeal, as suggested, and I didn't even know it was there. Until it worked! Oh yal, it is much cheaper than the name brands with maltodextrin as well.

I bought this for gluten free baking and tested it in a few different bread recipes. I mainly wanted structure and fiber without changing the look of the final loaf too much. Psyllium husk is a solid binder, but this is one of those brands that changes color when baked. The powder itself is very finely ground and easy to work with. It mixes into dough smoothly with no clumping and behaves like psyllium usually does. It thickens well and helps hold everything together. From a texture standpoint, the breads actually came out decent and held their shape. The downside is the color. Every loaf and roll I baked turned purple or grayish purple once it hit the oven. It is noticeable and honestly not very appetizing, especially if you are baking for other people. I have since learned that you need a lighter or blonde psyllium husk to avoid this, so that is on me, but it is still worth mentioning.

It does not fully dissolve, the taste isn’t great and while I’m not 100% I think it’s caused some dark spots on my… umm… how can I put this delicately… my bm’s. I’ve been having some gut issues the past year and I’ve taken this a few times once per day to not great results. After being tired of spending way too much money on other supplements that are both trendy social media & popular within the LGBTQ+ community I decided to try this 1 last time because the price point is much more favorable. Instead this time I decided to do 1 scoop in the morning & 1 in the evening and it’s completely different than last time. It’s so helpful. I noticed an improvement pretty quickly. I like that it’s not a product with a ton of ingredients. The sealing on the bag hasn’t been nearly the headache I thought it would be which is an unexpected benefit. I try my best to drink it 30-60 minutes before eating and not within 2-3 hours of any other supplement or pill

Great product. Exactly as described. No smell. Use 1/8 teaspoon in dog food as recommended by vet, not worried about added ingredients since safe for human consumption

Has a muddy colour and taste. Tried the first serving and will not finish the rest. Bag does not reseal properly. Will never buy this brand again.
