Relevant textbook
Bought this for a class on school leadership. It's actually one of the most relevant textbooks I've read in a long while. I'm actually engaged and not completely skipping over sections.

Best leadership book ever
This purchase was for a gift because I wanted someone else to enjoy it. Out of all of the books I've read about leadership so far, especially in education, this one is the best.

Great Shape
The product was in great shape when it got here. It said used, but it looked new; it got here fast and was as it said it would be.

A book really about sustainable leadership
I like this book very much! Even though it discussed sustainable leadership in scholl surroundings, there is plenty of ideas to translate to business life. Best book so far about sustainable leadership that I have read.

Knowledge packed professional learning
Sustainable LeadershipAndy Hargreaves and Dean Fink are two highly credible authors and researchers of school leadership. "Sustainable Leadership" is an inspirational book that will add to their credibility among the school leaders who want practical and informed discussion about the day-to-day issues affecting schools. The concept of sustainable leadership in schools is topical because of the loss of the baby-boomer generation holding formal leadership positions and the failure to grow new leaders. The authors have proposed seven principles for sustainable leadership:1. Depth2. Length3. Breadth4. Justice5. Diversity6. Resourcefulness7. Sustainability in Action. The principles were adapted from the research into ethical, sustainable companies. The structure of sustainable leadership provides a great vehicle to discuss contemporary educational change and leadership. As I read the book my pen was working over-time, marking points of agreement and fantastic quotes. This book is a great read in its own right, but it contains some of the best professional learning that school leaders could have.Neil MacNeill
