Great tool I use it all the time

Very solid tool, with light duty connectors. They do work very well even if they are thin. This likely isn't the best if you'll be continually disabling the contacts but works great for a permanent install. I used this to cleanly install my tail lights on a motorcycle.

I needed to replace a bunch of quick disconnects (30+) on a wiring harness set. I've done that for a few at a time using pliers to crimp but wanted something more reliable and repeatable, as well as giving me a faster way to do this. I ordered this kit for the tool and the large number of connectors it included which would take care of this project. The tool works great for crimping, and there is a good selection of connectors. The only complaint I have was that when I opened the box containing the connectors they were jumbled all together and mixed up so much that I had to spend a fair amount of time sifting out the connectors that I needed. Putting each type in small bags for shipment would have alleviated this aggravation.

The box that the ends came in is low quality and they all mixed together and they dont crimp on the best but it does work

I have a box full of crimpers for the squish-type spade and bullet connectors kits I've gotten over the years. This was the first I have seen that handled crimping down the "ears" at the back of the connector to hold the wire into place. A few practice runs and I was off making tightly-held in place spade connections that didn't pull out when I was trying to disconnect the male and female spade connectors. I needed to troubleshoot a relay wiring issue and this kit had the narrow male and female spade connectors that let me add jumpers wires for the relay to let me test the voltages.

The crimps are good but I narrowly dislocated my thumb using the tool itself unfortunately.
