INCLUDES: DYNATRAP IECT TRAP, 24-INCH HAING CHIN, AND TWO REPCEMENT UV BULBS. THREE TOTAL BULBS ARE INCLUDED. Bug and Mosquito relief is on the way with the DynaTrap Insect Trap. Take back your yard without the need for propane, chemicals or pesticides. Attract and kill and other flying insects across 1/2 acre. This insect trap is engineered for 3-way protection against mosquitoes and other flying insects. A UV fluorescent bulb creates a warm glow that's encing to insects, and the Ti02 titanm dioxide-coated surface produces CO2 to attract insects to the trap. Once the insects get close enough, a whisper-quiet vacuum fan sucks the pests into the retaining cage where they dehydrate and die. No zapping or buzzing No expensive attractant or propane required; Functions with a 110V Power Cord. Outlet Required. Includes: DynaTrap Insect trap, 24 inch chain for hanging, screwdriver and cleaning brush. Also included are TWO BONUS (3 Total) UV-fluorescent replacement bulbs - each will last for approximately 3,000 hours (4 months). With the three total bulbs included, you can go up to one year without needing a replacement bulb.

Useless on Mosquitos
The ads and the box in which the Dynatrap came say that it emits Carbon Dioxide to attract mosquitoes. If it does, it must be a minuscule amount... too little to attract the many mosquitoes I've seen buzz past it. It primarily traps insects using light, which is completely useless on mosquitoes during the day (and at night too judging from my results). I've run it continuously for over two weeks and have found very few mosquitoes in the trap... and they are even worse now! If you want to catch moths you will may have some luck with the Dynatrap, but if mosquitoes are your issue you would do well to look elsewhere for a solution. Added 7/23/2020 - I did the Dynatrap 42 Day Challenge, and when I told Dynatrap I was not satisfied with the product they refunded my money... though it took three phone calls and a couple hours to jump though all their hoops.

It works
In the last 2 weeks this product captured thousands of mosquitoes. Impossible to count, but cups of mosquitoes. A word of caution: DO NOT open first thing in the morning or inside any structure, or risk setting loose hundreds of hungry, angry mosquitoes! Maybe a nice upgrade would be a manual zapper that could be used before opening the trap.

This product deserves more than 5 stars
My son lives in Pennsylvania. I live in Florida. He is always calling me about the mosquitos near his home. He says that they are "so bad, that we can't even have a family dinner out on the deck.". I saw this item on HSN and told him about it. He looked at the reviews, thanked me for the suggestion, and said I should keep my money in my pocket. I said, "In my opinion, it's worth trying. You can always return it if it doesn't work, and you have 90 days to try it out." He was convinced to try it. A few days later he called to say that he received it. A few days after that, he called me asking me if I could buy him another one for the other side of the deck. Unfortunately, HSN was sold out. I ended up buying this from Amazon. The price was higher than at HSN, but the delivery came the next day. My son, and his family, is ecstatic. They sent me videos of them having their family night out on the deck.

I CAN’T BELIEVE HOW AMAZING THIS WORKS!!! I live in Georgia..The HOME of Every Flying Insect.. IF That wasn’t bad enough I also live on a creek… I have tried sprays, candles and professional mosquito exterminators.. ALL HAVE FAILED TERRIBLY UNTIL NOW!!!! I received this product a couple days ago and already I haven seen a 90% decrease in the bugs on my porch..I am so happy with this product it works amazing..ONE HELPFUL HINT.. DO NOT PUT LIGHT CLOSE TO YOUR LOCATION You will have more bugs than you have ever had before Also leave it running consistently for the first several days… Ants will be attracted to the lamp due to the dead bugs inside!! Enjoy your Summer Now w/o the Flying bugs.. It’s Well worth the money!!!

Good for moths, not for mosquitoes
This could be a regional thing, whether or not mosquitoes in coastal Massachusetts are lured in by this thing, but here they are definitely not. Tons of moths and some other interesting looking bugs did get suckered, but my backyard was full of buzzy bitey sucky mosquitoes eight weeks after having this deployed full time, away from competing light sources. I ended up using a hanging mesh tent off the patio umbrella to make the yard usable. The flip side is that I have a massively lowered count of moths that have snuck in this year, and the trap has plenty of those inside.

Look mom no mosquito bites!
I know there’s not so nice reviews but we had bought our first one at Costco. It works wonderful. So we wanted a couple of more and I saw they were on Amazon so I bought a couple more. Yes, it does trap moths and flies but it does trap mosquitoes as well. We live on a farm and we do want to keep moths out of our feed. We put three of them. One in the barn, one in the shop and the third on the porch. We can go out any time of day and not get bit by mosquitoes. I don’t know why other people have a problem with it, they work wonderful. The bulb in them lasted about 2 years and having free bulbs it came with was sweet. The bulb is easy to change. Make sure you use a rag to touch the new bulb because the oils from your hand will burn out the bulb sooner. Worth every penny we paid for them. I definitely recommend.

Not nearly as efficient as advertised!
Hangs close to our deck. Bugs are not as bad but there are still plenty to annoy us. Doesn’t do the job we expected it would. Thank still plenty of bugs around!

catch's everything but mosquitos
We live is the suburbs of western NY. Mosquitos are a normal part of our summer. We are very active in our gardens so we are very conscious of the little pests. We have used Mosquito Joe with reasonable success but he is a bit expensive and needs to be done every year so this item seemed like a better choice being a one time expense. We have been using the DynaTrap for two and a half months now. I should have mentioned that I bought two, one on each side of our patio, each about 20' from the patio. During this time, our mosquito population has grown undeterred. I finally decided to open the trap and see if there were any mosquitos in it. I figured that if I accidentally released a couple live ones during this investigation, would it really make much of a difference to my yard. Upon opening, I found exactly what I suspected, lots of little moths and some random other insects which I can not identify. Some still live moths and some other strange bugs quickly flew out. Not one mosquito flew out. I looked very hard at the pile of dead bugs and it is mostly small moths with several other assorted winged bugs but NO MOSQUITOS... NONE. My yard if full of them at dusk but this thing didn't attract any. Total waste of a good chunk of change. I wish I could return them but I am past the return window. $250 down the toilet. Photo attached showing the pile of dead creatures, you decide.
