There were 12 individual packages 16 oz.

I bought a bag of this brand and type of pasta at my grocery store and it does not say on the package how long to cook it?

The instructions say 10 minutes but it is very al dente at 10 minutes. I use this product to make macaroni salad and cook it for 16 minutes. It is still firm at 16 minutes cooking time and the circles remain intact evem with vigorous mixing of the salad ingredients.

The package does not say if it is GMO free
