Winch a engine out of vehicle

It worked for me. I bought it to extract a crashed 950 pound snowmobile. It was down a steep slope just 15 feet. This winch would not pull it up by itself. So it seems way weaker than the rated pull. Yes I was not doubled up using a snatch block, but still should have a single line pull of 3000 pounds and should have popped this sled right out. I had to add a small come-a-long to help this winch.the winch stopped working for a bit. seems the problem is in the remote. possible that snow and water got into it. started working again so I didn't investigate further.

The first time I used it , it stopped working I found by hitting it with a hammer I got it to work, I don’t think I should have to do this

For 100.00 this is the best winch for some household work. Works great

If your expecting to use the crank handle, good luck. The very first time I tried to use the hand crank in conjunction with the electric it stripped out and is pretty much useless. Save your money and get a good manual winch

Product is made poorly. After three light uses motor keeps running. Not the remote control unit, not the power cord, but, internal. I'm disappointed.

Good winch. You have to hold remote plug into winch while using, as it doesn’t make a tight enough connection.

Awesome little winch

Didn’t work and my husband was stuck. Totally unhappy

The crank handle if tighten/loosened the gear can become dislodged. We just winched a 600lb concrete anchor and this happened.
