Works great on Mixtrack Pro/laptop setup
This product works great when used to eliminate the speaker buzz caused by laptops. However, it does not work very well when used alone on my iDJ. However, if you're looking for something to get rid of that annoying buzzing sound caused by laptops, this will definitely do the trick.

Excellent hum-bucker
I am very impressed with this device, as in my application a device going to the mixer had an awful squeal. But this item completely, to the point of full volume that I never come closed to, got rid of that noise completely.

works great
I have my iPhone connected to my 2007 G35 Sedan via the rca cables. I use the apple cable that has a dock connector that breaks out into the red, white, and yellow rca's and a usb port. I have the usb port connected to a standard 12V car power port to usb plug and the rcas hooked up to the ports in the armrest. This charges my phone, lets me play music through the aux input, and when I am stopped it plays video (movies, music videos, podcasts).when listening to music, (either ipod or pandora) I would always hear a whine which I knew was engine noise. I had tried a cheap ground loop isolator from radio shack before but it was very bulky, taking up a lot of the limited space in the arm rest, and it didn't work well. I decided to take a chance on this adapter and to my surprise it worked great! Now I can still hear some background noise when I turn it up pretty high with nothing playing but I don't usually hear it when music is playing. Sometimes I hear the phone interference but that is inevitable.this worked great for my setup.

Likely a Gimmick
Gave this a shot to reduce a ground loop issue I had on my receiver. It did nothing. Unfortunately I wasn't quick enough to return it so now I have a rather ugly paper weight. Maybe it's effective at certain types of ground loop, but I can't recommend it based on my experience.I realize that wiring issues are complex and there is a lot of user error that factors into these reviews of products that may work perfectly well. But on the flip side there are a lot of cheap gimicky electronics sold on false promises. In this case I had two electronic components that were using two separate grounds and connected through a single phono line. Putting this inbetween did nothing, whereas a running a bit of wire to ground one component to the other did the trick. I have to suspect this one is largely ineffective.

Takes the hum out of Hum-Bug
I have been trying to put some of my best vinyl record on CD without sucess due to a very loud hum when connecting my record player to the sound card on my computer. After about a year of trying to do this I did some searching and found out that a ground loop isolator was the answer. I had never heard of such a thing so I wondered where in the world could I find such a thing. I went right to Amazon and found several. I ordered this item as it was not the cheapest or the most expensive. When it arrived I saw the instructions said it was for mobile use. I was about ready to return it but thought what the heck, I'll try it anyway. I was very scepical but hooked it up anyway. As soon as the connection was made I was greeted with dead silence. I thought oh boy, it shorted out everything. I started a record and to my amazement out came music with no hum at all. My records are now on CD and on the external hard drive for backup. It sure did the job for me.

Like a Charm
I recently moved all of my retired DJ equipment with a 1200watt amp into my living room to use as my HIFI system. All worked well until i connected my PS3 to my mixer. Some serious buzz and my first guess was a ground loop. My first attempt to fix the buzz was a simple power filter (Monster Cable MP HTS800). This did nothing to stop the buzz at all. So before I spent $300 on a high end product i decided to give a line level filter a try. I had this thing connected within 2 minutes of the postman leaving at the door. And I was smiling another second after that. No buzz. In fact, the sound was even cleaner than before (always had a very slight background hum). This worked liked a charm and I have not noticed any sound quality degridation. There are many different causes for the buzz..but for 15 bucks it's worth giving it a try.

Nope
Attached this to a soundbar that had major buzz coming off the aux input. After a ton of research realized I needed something like this. Tested it with several cables and it did absolutley nothing.
