Perfect fit.
This is an exact replica for my 1999 Honda Civic. I was slightly disappointed that I couldn't get one in emerald green, but I'm happier that I now have a controllable driver side mirror again. I know I could have painted it, but my paint job is already peeling, and one does not pay attention to paint color when driving. I was going to transplant this into my old one, because I only needed the plastic mounting bracket, but I realized it would be more effort than needed.

Great Cheap Replacement for OEM Mirror
Excellent cheap replacement mirror for the money. Fit perfectly on a 99 Civic 4 door driver side. Everything but the glass looks stock. The glass is a little distorted otherwise this would be a 5 star product. The glass is still fully functional it just strains my eyes a little. A nice quick way to make my car street legal while fighting the insurance company.Installation is easy.1. Remove the plastic covering that hides the bolts for your existing mount (just pull it off.)2. Unplug the power mirror connector and unbolt the existing mount taking care not to drop the nuts into the door. You don't get extra nuts with the kit so be careful.3. Pull the old mount out and insert the new one in the same three holes with the rubber boot in between the mirror and the door. I had to be a little forceful to get it past the initial entry but my door was a little warped from the collision. Once it was in it fit perfectly.4. Put the nuts on the new bolts, plug in the power connector and replace the cover (just push it in place.)

Easy to install. Fits my 1999 Honda Civic LX perfectly. Looks just like the original black mirror.

it went on easily. Would have been nice if it came with ...
The rubber gasket was a bit off, but once I got it aligned, it went on easily. Would have been nice if it came with the 3 nuts to attach it to the door. Good thing I saved them.

Two Stars
Wrong item, though the description claims it is correct. Oh well.

Good mirror but hard to install.
The mirror is good but you can't install it with the seal, it makes a thickness that won't allow the studs to go through the holes. I installed it without the seal and it fit a lot better.

as I didn't like driving around without the mirror
After getting side swiped and having very little damage except for the mirror getting ripped off, I decided just buy a mirror and put it on myself. My deductable is $500 so filing for insurance was out. I found this one for around $25 which was significantly less than buying one from Honda for $165. it came quickly. Thanks Amazon, as I didn't like driving around without the mirror, and I was so tired of turning my neck to check for traffic. The installation was fairly straight forward... pull off the little triangle cover piece, remove the three bolts, then install the new one. You really had to push that baby in hard to get it in, but once it was in, it was in nice and tight. So the fit was good (I have the 2000 Honda Civic EX). The only problem I had was one of the bolts fell in the little crack for the window and into the door cavity. This was completely my fault. So then I had to remove the door panel which was much more difficult than putting on the mirror. Please be careful and don't drop the little bolts. This one is black and I like the way it looks even better than the original which is painted, so I'm considering buying another. Naw... I'm too cheap to do that.
