Taylors of Harrogate Lapsang Souchong, 20 Teabags

Evidently this was one of the original t's pitched overboard during the Boston tea party. That was for a 2% tax so Americans be ashamed. Anyway it's got a smokey earthy flavor that is so excellent. I don't think this is one that you would ever want to add sugar or anything else to. Pick some up and it will be on your regular rotation I promise you

Lapsang Souchong is a delightful and unique tea, supposedly a favorite of the great Winston Churchill. The tea itself is delicate, with of course the full-bodied overlaying notes of smoky pine. It may be somewhat odd in flavor to the uninitiated, but it definitely “grows on you.” I haven’t had the (now discontinued) Twinings version of Lapsang Souchong in quite awhile, but I seem to recall that it was a bit more robust in terms of the tea flavor itself. Regardless, this Taylor’s of Harrogate variety is satisfying, and should be tried by all Lapsang Souchong fans as well as the culinary curious.

This is good lapsang souchong tea. You have to know and expect that lapsang souchong tea tastes like smoke; it's an acquired taste.

My husband and I recently traveled to Boston, MA and visited Abigail’s Tea Room. At the tea room you could taste the five teas that were thrown into the harbor during the Boston Tea Party and this was one of them! We loved it because of its hint of smokiness, add a little milk and sugar and bam you’ve got the best tea! And it’s pretty cool to test some history! We highly recommend this tea!

The tea list that the tea leaves are smoked. That smokiness comes through when the hot water touches the tea bag. Very fragrant like being physically in the smoke with tea leaves. If you enjoy fragrant and flavorful tea try this one.

I’ve seen this tea in fancy stores for almost double the price. Got it for my dad and he loves it.

I never tried this tea, when I did was VERY shocked how overpowering the smokiness was. Once I got past the smell, the taste was very pleasant.

È il tè affumicato per antonomasia, se non vi piace il profumo e il sapore del fumo questo tè non è per voi. Più duttile di quello che sembra si può utilizzare in innumerevoli occasioni. Quasi impossibile da trovare nella mia zona, ho provato altre marche, ma questo della Taylors ha decisamente una sua personalità a mia avviso piacevole, lo consiglio a chi cerca un sapore alternativo e consistente.

Te affumicato dal gusto molto particolare, non per tutti i palati. Non è un te "dolce", difficile da bere senza zuccherarlo, almeno x il mio gusto. Io lo uso molto per aromatizzare di affumicato la carne che uso per fare il ramen👍🏻 Ottimo rapporto qualità- prezzo

This is an unusual choice and I’ve not found many stores who stock it so I was very pleased to find that I could order it through Amazon, they also keep other specialty tea’s which I will also be ordering from Taylor’s in future, the order was dispatched and arrived when advised and in good condition, I’m already half way through the box so I’ll be reordering soon! If you like your tea to be a bit different then I would recommend that you take a look at what Taylor’s have to offer!
