A true bargain @ around $350!
Let me put it this way, I've owned several watches over the year that have had price tags a 100 times the price tag of this watch. Were/ are these $35k watches a 100 times better. Truly debatable. I would say some of them are 10 times better. Still, this Glycine watch definitely has around 80% of the performance/ looks of a watch that costs 10 times as much, i.e. $3.5k. When I use a watch, I never ever take it off, whether I sleep, exercise, swim or shower. So far I've worn this one on all the aforementioned occasions, including a visit to the local public swimming place. And then in the sauna afterwards. No problem. I do realize that I may have to exchange the watch band at some point, as, of course, metal bands are more resistant to wear and tear. When not worn, any perpetual watch should be placed in a watch winder. And they should be serviced every five year's. Thus, if you are not prepared to pay for a watch winder for your perpetual watches and for proper servicing, you really should consider the amateurish quartz watches.

Great field watch for the price
I like the Arabic numerals on field watches and even though there’s no day just date function I liked the looks enough to get it.Note the band seemed cheap so I stuck a nato 22mm black nylon band works great!Highly recommend

Not as advertised
Bezel on the watch I received was a "subdued" numbers. The face is clear and good contrast, but bezel is useless. Can barely see in a lit office. I bought this to be used as a dive watch. There's no way anyone could see the bezel clearly under water. Would make a great desk-diver, but useless as an actual dive watch. And I'm one of those weirdo's who still uses an auto diver as a backup timer on dives, no way to do so with a bezel you can't see. Otherwise, the watch is great. Returned. Hopefully can find one that is identical to the photo in the ad (with bezel numbers/markings as clear as the face - as it shows in the pic). Bottom line, I received a different watch than the one in the picture.

Nice watch!
The watch is very nice for the money. However sometimes i find it hard to see the hands due to the color scheme. Other than that, it’s awesome. (7 in. Wrist )

Great value
My only disappointment was after the purchase I saw a lower price offer with metal band on this site.

THiS iS LiKE A $1200 WATCH !
i've known about these for awhile, and what a great value and legendary watch they were. but that was from afar.i decided to go for one of these black pvd combat subs after having bought so many other divers over the years, including my share of Swiss $1500 divers with ETA or sellita movements in them. these have a breitling style to them, certainly different than most of the rolex homages. so for under $400, how can you resist?i know the bad rap about this great classic heritage brand being bought by invicta, but all the research says that has had no effect on quality. but could this really be this good for under $400? well, totally.it has a modified eta 2824 auto movement that is as smooth as butter. a very no-nonsense crisply well-alligned 60-click, tight, unidirectional bezel. quality control and finish of the $1500 other Swiss watches i've purchased over the years. superrr smooth and solid big pilot style screwdown crown. solid lume, in the ballpark of other Swiss watches (not quite seiko BRiTE but what is?). that classic walk-the-walk military styling (they are known for their heritage of military issue pilot watches). and really exquisite quality control and build quality that stacks up with those expensive timepieces i keep comparing it to.oddly enough, i bought this because i always wanted a PVD black sport watch but didn't want the wear through that eventually happens to the PVD. but recently the concept of patina and cool worn PVD diver watches has become trendy. to the point a number of manufacturers MAKE models NEW with distressed and worn-thru PVD.i fell in love with that look, so for under $400 i thought i'd get one and let it wear into that look with my own use. this glycine was the perfect choice, but i am a bit blown away by the incredible quality.this is very badass, and over time it will get that worn look on the edges, but if you don't like that you can always go for one of the many straight steel models. but i'm super happy with this and looking forward to some of that first wear in a few years. until the i'm just going to enjoy it all new and perfect as it is.
