Replacement for LMXS28596S model
A good replacement for my original refrigerator filters. Water quality and pressure were consistent with the original. Great price, much less than paying for the brand name. Fits my LMXS28596S model LG refrigerator.

Great Alternative to Name Brand
We have two LG refrigerators that use the same water and air filters. With as much ice and water as we go through, it can get a little pricey to keep replacing them with LG branded stuff. We started using these as a more economical alternative. As far as I can tell, they seem to work just as good as the originals and the filtration specs are just as good as well. Having said that, one of my daughters swears up and down that the water does not taste as good as the filters we were using. She would even tell her friends that they had to come to our house to taste the water (but she's a teenager and teenagers are weird). No one else seems to notice it, although I low key believe that the ice in our pantry refrigerator tastes better than the stuff in the kitchen refrigerator. I don't know why that would be given that it's the same filter using the same water supply. Anyway, I'll never admit it to her, but I knocked off one star just in case.

Water tastes better
Does the job. Our water is normally minerally tasting out of the tap. This makes the water refreshing from the fridge. Easy to change.
