We have a Shiba Inu dog - her coat blows out a couple times a year and sheds copious amounts of fuzz. We have tried using other brushes and the doggo HATES them. If you've heard the "Shiba Scream" (tm) you'll know why finding a brush she likes is so important. To be honest she does not like this brush. She is indifferent about this brush which is as close as we can get. This brush helps with the mega-shed, is comfortable in the hand and doesn't make my Shiba scream so loud my neighbors call the ASPCA. 5 stars would recommend.

With two heavy coated Goldens and a Longhaired GSD this rake is perfect! It works really well getting out the undercoat and knots. Well worth the investment.

Great detangling brush/comb. Used for an old English sheep dog who requires a lot of grooming and it’s been fantastic. I like the handle for an easy hold.

I’ve gone through 9 other combs and brushes on our Briard before I bought this one. It’s awesome!It’s very comfortable to hold and I like that I can use just a few of the tines to work on tangles and mats and the full width to comb out broad areas.The tines are long enough to get to the skin and are rounded off so they don’t scratch her skin.Grooming our dog was not pleasant for us or our dog with the other tools but this one does the job quicker and more gently.

My dog has long fur and I thought this would be good but I find he hates it and it feels so sharp to the touch for me..

I was looking for a rake for poodles with dense hair that gets matted with stickerburrs, and thought the tine placement might be too fine, but it works very well, and my dogs actually like having me use it on them. So great dog comb!

Most of the rakes I saw were ridiculously wide; I went with this one because it was the narrowest I could find, and absolutely love it. The handle is comfortable and the tips of the pins are rounded enough to not irritate my dogs' skin. Perfect size!
