The genuine part you've been searching for
5 out of 5. Exactly what it claimed to be - the official Korky replacement for Toto toilets (528 mechanism in my case). Made in USA. I originally purchased from Amazon what claimed to be the correct valves, but were Chinese knockoffs. Those didn't work at all. These are the real deal, and actually cheaper. Installed in seconds and worked on first try. Perfect.

"Run Toto, Run"...no more!
This part fit as described, a 2-minute installation, and stopped the toilet from "running". I installed this valve replacement cap on a 2- pc Toto dual-flush toilet. The existing cap assembly had "528" impression on its cover. I disregarded the toilet model and found this Korky product with 528 on the packaging. I don't know why it is marketed "FOR KORKY" since it is a Korky product.

It worked!!
So my toilet started making this pulsating sound when I would flush it. Not only was it loud, but it also caused it to take much longer to fill back up. Well, it was easy to figure out that the cause was the fill valve, and I was prepared to just get a whole new fill valve. But first, I searched the internet for, "How to take apart a Korky fill valve." And I came across a video that showed how to take it mostly apart and clean the pieces while it was still connected to the base of the toilet's fill basin (or whatever it's called). So I did just that. However, upon doing so I noticed that the rubber piece in the top of the cap was pretty much destroyed beyond repair... I was then prepared to, once again, go ahead and get a whole new fill valve. Even though I had shopped for one the night before though, and saw many different fill valves, I had never come across any parts for the Korky fill valve that I have. And even after cleaning the parts of my fill valve and discovering that the cap piece was no good anymore, it never occurred to me to look for just the part that I needed. So then, I was literally getting ready to check out with a whole new fill valve in my cart, when I saw this part as one of the items commonly bought with what I was going to buy. Or something like that, lol. Well, sure enough, this was the part that I needed. And it was VERY easy to install. Especially since I already knew how to take apart the fill valve. So to anyone else planning to do this, I would suggest looking for that video that I mentioned. And also, since you'll be taking apart the fill valve in order to change this part out, then you might as well clean the other parts that they show in the video. Which is really only two more parts beyond this part. After you take this part off of the fill valve, there should be another round looking piece that you can just pull out, that has a long tube protruding off of the bottom of it. Then, this long tube should have a piece sticking out from the very bottom of it that you can grab and pull out. If it doesn't want to come out, then it's a pretty good sign that it probably needs to be taken out and cleaned up. But anyway, doing all of that should add a few more years to the life of your fill valve. AND, it keeps you from having to go through the more difficult parts of replacing a fill valve. So of course, I would highly recommend getting this part and changing it out. If that's what you need to do.

Korky valve works like new
Toilet was leaking water. The nice thing about the these Korky flush valves, is they can be easily repaired. Replaced the (Ballcock Cap Assembly For Korky) and the flush valve works like new. Needed to use water pump pliers to carefully remove and replace the assembly. Also, my Korky valve was not properly installed originally, check the installation video.
