Not quite as advertised
I first bought this at my local Rite-Aid. I don't have a lot of hair - not enough to use the big one - so the smaller size worked better. After wearing it out I ordered a new set from this seller. The ones I received were mailed from China, and I don't know why they would be different since the product is made there, but I received two small ones instead of one of each size, and there was no instruction guide included. However, since I don't use the big size the order was perfect for me. Just a word of caution in case you are expecting one of each size - you might not get it.

Works fine. Makes a small bun.
These are ok. I favor the donut style bun makers to these (they look like a donut loofah) because I don’t have a ton of hair so my bun looks inordinately tiny compared to my head. The thing that is better about this compared to the donut is My bun is beater and you can’t see the snap bracelet thing underneath. My daughter’s bun looks fabulous. Perfect size! I love that they come in all colors! She is blonde and I am a brunette so for the price it was well worth it!

Easy and versatile
My daughters and I love these. They make really cute hairstyles very quickly & easily. One daughter has fine straight hair the other thick and wavy. They stay nicely in both. We have used them for French twists, messy buns, tight buns and many other variations of hairstyles. All in literally a snap. I only gave 4 stars because we do need to buy them every so many months because they do break.

It's a snap bracelet. Doesn't work well for my hair.
It does not clip closed on the end, so you have to hold it pinched closed at the same time trying to roll your hair in it and too many pieces of hair fall out. If you notice in the photo, it is someone else putting it this her hair and holding the end so the hair doesn't fall out, but it's really hard to do on myself with my long hair. And then when you get to your head, the thing only bends in in one direction, so if it's on the top of my ponytail and I want to bend it down around my ponytail, I can't because it only bends up. Like how a snap bracelet only bend one way. And then after a couple tries, I get it positioned correctly, and it folds up really small and tight. It curls up like a snap bracelet with no control over the size or shape of the bun. It's also hard to take it out of my hair, because you can't unroll it, since it wants to stay curled up, like a snap bracelet. I have long, layered, curly hair, for the record. What I wanted was something that looked like this that clipped closed to hold my hair in it, then I could bend it and shape it to make a nice big bun.

Not good quality
Well the first one just lasted me a month (UPDATE: the second one lasted a little over a month). It does need some getting used to and because my hair length is pretty uneven, it is difficult to roll the hair completely and neatly. I still use it almost everyday though. It doesn’t hold up on really active workouts like cardio kickboxing but if the exercise doesn’t require a lot of jumping or bouncing, it should be fine. I will not purchase again though.

Takes time to learn...
Takes a couple of tries to get used to using but once you get the hang of it, it works really well and looks super cute. I only use the poofy ones. I don't really like the other ones but that's just my personal preference. My hair is very very thin and that makes it all the more difficult to use.

Maybe not the best for thick hair.
These are a very good deal for how many you get. However, it may not be the best if you have thick hair. I have very thick 2c hair and two of these pins actually bent being put into and taken out of an up do. That was my only issue; I imagine these would work very well for thinner hair types

Super cute and easy bun solution
Great solution to quick buns for my daughter's ballet hair needs. The only issue I have is taking them out. Once you create the bun and the hair gets wrapped around the shaper, it becomes a little tricky to find the best spot to separate the hair so you can un-roll it.
