- Dolomite sand. Grain size: 1-3mm. -stabilises pH and hardens the water -perfect for rock biotopes: Tanganyika, Malwai, Lake Victoria -giving an alkaline reaction. The fish that inhabit these lakes do not live in the ooze (up to 0.5mm) but in the sand 0.5< 2mm which also allows the gills to be cleaned.

- Before use, we recommend that you only pre-wash the substrate, please do not do this thoroughly because it is a never-ending work.
