Bright and Clean Scent
Took a chance that this would be a light aftershave without strong perfumy effect. It is perfect! Interesting, bright and clean scent to start the day! It was delivered quickly and well packaged. I will buy another bottle after this is gone.

Soothing and smells great.
I love it. It reminds me of when I was a youngster. The barbershop fragrance and the days when you could walk into a barbershop and get a haircut without having to get an appointment. It’s soothing and smells great.

Economical aftershave - smells fresh.
Smells fresh and simple. Old school. Somewhat artificial scent. It not a complex spicy scent and for me the scent fades completely within an hour to two hours max. But the large container last forever especially when it’s in a rotation with other aftershaves. I’d love to try the other Lustray aftershaves though.

Blue Soice and Draggon Noir - Both Excellent
This is a double review for two of the products listed here: Blue Spice and Draggon Noir. First, the Noir. It’s a pleasant scent, definitely of the “evening” variety. As the name suggests, it is reminiscent in passing to Drakkar Noir. The smells are definitely distinct, however. Drakkar bites just a little bit more and wears for longer. But, Draggon is a pleasant, masculine night scent that smells simple but sophisticated. There’s definitely more of a barber shop element in Draggon, which I really like. It feels good on the face. Next, Blue Spice. This one I thought would borrow a lot from Aqua Velva, not one of my favorite scents. But, Blue Spice actually has a pleasant, old-school, masculine spicy smell to it. It would be a great fall and winter scent. Nice and warm, feels good on the face, and the scent is mild but lasting. Love this one. My shave routine is as follows: shea and sandalwood gel with a three head electric shaver, then a splash of cold water, Osage rub, then the aftershave of choice. Both of these scents pair well with Jeri’s Osage rub, which is a great way to finish a shave.

A Pleasant Crisp Fragerance, Closer To Bay Rum Than Old Spice
Update I confess, I'm a writer and bought this because the idea of buying a GALLON of aftershave isgreat material for an article. My first purchase was the smaller bottle, and I like it. Guess I won't need to buy much more! This does not smell like Old Spice, but is more bay rummy, and does not last all day, which currently works well in modern "offended/allergic" scent-free culture. I've also used it as a pre-save to dry up facial oils and not leave a greasy residue. Note that it is said the blue version is different from the amber version. Ingredients are plainly listed on the label, ## After shaves change with the times, many of the very "old school" barbershop brands are long gone or hard to find. As an unrepentant Old Spice fan, even that formula seems to have changed since the old Shulton days. Some OS fans (and, yes, there are forums!) say the nearest to the original is a copy sold at Family Dollar. With that store chain hard to find, I set out to look for another source. While this does not copy Old Spice or even the Family Dollar version, it is a pleasant surprise. Warm, with a hint of cinnamon and nutmeg. It is more complex than the dollar-store knock offs from India or China that all smell like baby powder regardless of "Our version of" brand name. Now, if you wish more complex, modern, designer, $60/4 ounces product that lasts longer, that's fine. But if you like old-fashioned, retro, or not caring at all for some designer name you never heard of, give it a try. It's what a lot of after shave used to be.

Its OK but not for me
I only gave it 3 stars because of the smell. It works perfectly for razor bumps and irritation due to shaving, and also helps prevent ingrown hairs as well as heals those cuts or nicks after a shave or haircut. But THE SMELL, PEEEEE YOOOUUUUU. Lmao. Just not my cup of tea. It just smells in between an older lady and and older man with a hint of that barbershop smell. Usually blue fragrances smell good but this is a no no....for me though, you may like it. I just wanted to test it. I like younger smells. I currently just use the regular (yellow) Clubman aftershave. The Clubman "Draggon Noir" after shave smells really good. It has more of a younger man to type of smell if you're like me, you would prefer that.

Sometimes the best scents are from inexpensive brands that no one has ever heard of
Right off the bat, I used to be an aftershave/cologne slut - yes, I admit it. Years ago, I would spend tons of money in an attempt to have the finest smelling fragrances available. Why, I don't know - just an OCD habit I suppose. However, as time went on, I would discover that some of the most masculine and attractive fragrances were from companies that I never heard off - not to mention, not costing much at all. Such is the case with this Clubman Lustray Blue Spice aftershave. Firstly, it comes in a big bottle (the kind you may still see sitting in traditional barber shops, and secondly, it is ridiculously inexpensive for what you get. Fragrance-wise, it has a very smooth, attractive, laid-back smell. It is not overwhelming, yet lasts a good half day or more. It is both masculine, yet very appealing. The way I discovered it was that one of my friends who I see at the gym, always had this laid-back really nice smell. Finally, one day I asked him what the name of his aftershave or cologne was, and he replied "Lustray Blue Spice." I purchased my first bottle a few years back at a local barber supply company. Since that time, the Lustray name was purchased by Clubman and is now distributed through them, and I ordered my second bottle (the subject of this review) through Amazon. So guys - looking for something inexpensive that both you and others will love. Get this Blue Spice aftershave. The size of the bottle ensures that it will last you a long time.

99% Alcohol, 1% Fragrance
I don't know why anyone could give this aftershave more than one star. It smells like 99% SD alcohol and 1% spice - NOT Bay Rum. Straight to the trash. Re-ordered Pinaud Virgin Island Bay Rum. Cheap and smells great!
