These are lovely bright lights and 200 were enough to cover a 6ft Christmas tree. I like the fact that they are plug in (standard UK) A nice feature is that you can use either the remote control to change the colours or the control box on the wire itself. The fade option is my personal favourite, but you also get a nice amount of static colours. The remote takes a CR2025 battery and mine came with one already installed, but as stated, it is very useful to be able to change the colour sequence using the control box should the remote stop working. Overall I'm happy with my purchase, I think they could be used anywhere in the house and look great at any time of year.

I needed a longer set of lights for my tree and this fitted the bill with the added bonus of a remote control. They look great round my tree and easily covered the whole 6 foot. The remote control is so handy, don’t think I’d buy a set without one again, you can change the colours or mode and even set a timer. As they are LED they are safe to touch as they don’t get hot, ideal for inquisitive pets. Would have like them to come in a reusable plastic box but that a minor gripe. Good value for money. Put these lights on my Christmas tree outside. The remote works from inside the house as the sensor is on the plug end. Beautiful bright colours (not the traditional red, yellow, blue and green) with lots of light and speed sequences. Can also have them stay on the one colour. I love the lilac colour but used something different daily over the Christmas. You can have cool white or warm white and lots of gorgeous colours too. Best lights I’ve had. Also bought a few sets of the ollny curtain lights for the windows too. Also one control operates them all if you have a few sets. Spare battery included for the remote which I haven’t had to use yet but they were only up for 3 weeks. 💜❤️💛💗💚🤍💙🧡

The lights were good, bright and good sequences of changes did have one bulb not working and one bulb showing a different colour from the rest also many Q&A and customer reviews on these lights said they were connectable but they are NOT emailed ollny about this and their reply was quick saying they are NOT connectable for reliability issues

Love my new set of lights. I am on a mission to cover my room and other areas of the house in lights to create a relaxing and uplifting environment, i have chronic pain and poor health and things can get a little dark but when i look at the lights i feel a little bit better so i am fighting the dark with light(s). These lights do not disappoint, they are well built and of a high quality. The little remote works well and there are plenty of options to choose from, you can select from the 16 different colours and several lighting modes. My favourite colour is slightly strange, it is an almost see-through lilac but when you fully look at it you can see different colours deep within it almost like seeing the pebbles through a lake. It's quite relaxing to look at, i am trying to use Mindfulness for my pain and i use this colour to stare at while clearing my mind. I also like the blues, the navy and light blue are lovely and vivid but don't have the usual cold feel to them that other lights usually have, the colour pallet is spot on. I enjoy the lights on the static mode but i also like the fade mode, it cycles through the 16 colours at an ideal speed - it's lovely to watch and as the speed isn't too fast i don't get that nausea feeling or dizziness/headache when watching it for awhile. As the lights are LED they won't cost a lot to run, and they do not produce excess heat so are safe to use. Great value set, built to last, lovely colours, I am very happy with my purchase.

Bought these to cheer up my living room after Christmas and have immediately bought a second set. The video makes them look like they are flickering faster than they do (they are more chilled than that!) but honestly the colours are amazing. An amazing range from f settings and effects, very versatile, good length, mains powered, indoor and out, remote. What more could you want. The different fade, jump, flicker settings and are all fab. Love em.

So I purchased this for Christmas to use outside the house. In the beginning these lights were working great and the brightness and colours were really nice but after a while some of the lights started playing up and the remote control too. Maybe because of weather conditions, but it says they are for outside use so I do not understand why this would of happened.. so this was a bit disappointing.

Wasn’t sure what these were going to be like as I’d been disappointed with other fairy lights which I’d bought from other sellers on Amazon. But these were wonderful. They have proved to be such good value with their variety of colours and light patterns. I have no complaints at all and they have given much enjoyment. They’re now stored safely away until next year having been on almost permanently since I bought them. Should they fail when resurrected next Christmas (and I don’t think they will) they were worth every penny I paid for them and I would buy them again. Thank you Ollney.
