This Ruth & Boaz blanket has definitely exceeded my expectations with regard to comfort and aesthetic. To start off, it is larger than I was expecting. I know the dimensions are listed, however I still wasn't expecting how much area it would cover. I have a full size bed, and this blanket covers the entire bed when laid out on top.With regard to comfort, I was pleasantly surprised. The wool and polyester blend was surprisingly soft, and even my girlfriend's sensitive skin found the material soft and comfortable. I understand that it is a small amount of wool in comparison to polyester, however with people sensitive to wool, this is a good alternative. It isn't incredibly thick, but it is certainly warm enough for my bedroom, which is in a basement and can get quite cool in the winters. I also plan on using it camping this spring and summer. It should be perfect for chilly nights before crawling into the tent.As for the reason I purchased the blanket in the first place, I wanted something that would work well as throw blanket in my room. I love the look of this blanket, and the colors go great with everything else I have. It looks just like the pictures online, though I will say that one side is a little more muted, and the other side has colors that are a bit more vibrant.I enjoy this blanket, and am debating purchasing another one in a different color just to have some extras around the house or to take camping with me! The look of this blanket is definitely comparable to much more expensive blankets, and my initial impressions of quality lead me to believe that it will last for a long long time!

So I took this car camping in the back of my Jeep and here’s what I have to say about this blanket. For the price point it’s very warm and pretty as well as durable as my 65# golden slept on top of it without ripping a stitch in it. To me though it is like a good baselayer of clothing, it’s good to have under a heavier blanket when camping in colder weather. We had some gusts up to 20 mph that night with 30 degree temps and we’re thankful to have a second blanket on top for added warmth. Overall, great purchase for the price point and a nice addition to my car camping repertoire.

Very warm blanket and all the designs are very nice and look great. Was expecting it to be somewhat itchy due to it being partly wool but not itchy at all and after one wash it is even more comfortable and doesn’t shed nearly as much material on your clothes as it does when brand new, so I suggest washing it before using unless you don’t mind it leaving some lint on your clothes or furniture at first. Also being over 6ft I love y’all hat they have they option for a larger size which is plenty for someone over 6ft tall and honestly plenty of blanket for a friend of mine that is 6ft 7in so I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a great quality, very warm, heavy duty and great looking blanket!

We bought this blanket to put on our new living room loveseat that our cat has taken over as his bed, leaving his white fur all over the dark gray fabric. He obviously approves of his new blanket. :)But in all seriousness, this is a wonderful blanket for the money. Despite the wool content, it's super soft. The quality is excellent and the colors are gorgeous. I'll likely order a couple more of these blankets in different colors.

These are the nicest blankets! So happy with this purchase. Colors are as pictured- only better in person. I am renovating an older Airstream and these will be perfect! They have not been laundered, but I’m sure they will hold up just fine- they are well made.

I really wanted a Pendleton blanket but decided to purchase this Ruth & Boaz first since it's 1/3 of the price. Really glad I did because my husband and I found it very useful for our camping trip. It is light, soft, but kept us warm enough throughout the night. We were wearing our beanie, bomber jacket, and a thin base layer. I've already washed it a few times and it still feels and looks brand new coming out of the dryer.LIKES:- price, color, soft, warm, material, machine wash wellDISLIKES:- none

As other reviewers experienced, what I received was not at all what is pictured and described online. Instead of a sturdy, attractive, wool-blended outdoor blanket, I received a chintzy, thin, ugly, plastic one. Terrible quality, especially for the price. False advertising.

Have used this for 2 seasons outdoors so far and it's holding up very well. Nice pattern on the blanket. Other people around the fire are jealous of it.

I purchased one last year as a gift and bought one this year as well.
