Rothco Parade Gloves

I have washed these in machine a few times and do not need ironing for my purpose, as one hand goes in they look fine,, be careful to get right size, these can be a tight fit,, quality is good, not flimsy, color stays white,, I would buy again,, be careful of knockoffs that look almost same buy are cheaply made,, these have the lines going down,, make it more dressy looking,, if you only buying to handle valuable items, then this may be a overkill,, these are more for a uniform.

Contrary to the other reviewer, I ordered medium and they were a near perfect fit for my 8-1/2 size hands. My long slender fingers did not create any pockets of space in the finger valleys. There is some pocket space between my thumb and forefinger.The fit was snug, and that is what you want if you are wearing gloves for instrument playing, or otherwise handling objects. Too much extra length on the finger tips is neither good looking, nor professional.I love the whiteness and the very pronounced "dart" lines on the backs. I personally bought them for my Santa suit and they truly compliment the look for a decent price.With proper care and washing I imagine they will last a good while. Otherwise, consider them "throw aways" once they become too beat up.Addendum: My new order arrived today, 10/25/10 mon. I now concede that they do run small. The medium just fit and became more difficult to wear after shrinking in the wash. The large are a much better fit. Still fabulous looking snap gloves.

Thank you for a very good product, I am with the Honor Guard at my VFW Post and we wear both the white gloves for some and black gloves for others depending on what we are doing. My white and these black gloves are both Rothco Parade Gloves which I started wearing when I was with the police department and have always been very impressed with the quality and durability of these gloves! Thank you Rothco for a very good pair of parade gloves.

These look just like in the picture, are very comfortable, the mediums fit me perfectly, and the snaps snap very well (harder to get apart than a lego). BUT! I'm super afraid that I'm gunna get holes where the seams are cause they look like they're holding on for dear life. And there are already the beginnings of 2 tiny little holes on the thumb where the fabric looks super thin and they came like that. BUT! I'm sure as long as I'm careful they'll be fine d: . All in all they're pretty good gloves and will be absolitely perfect for my purpose!

Poorly manufactured; snap didn’t work; disappointed in fit/finish.

I purchased these originally in size XS and they were fine but rather tight on the wearer. I gave these to my sister-in-law, a 93 year old petite slim nun, who needed something cozy to keep the medications on her hands without soiling her clothing or bed linens.Since they arrived (2 pair XS, 2 pair Small, 2 pair Medium) she wears them because they are pretty and comfortable. I think she is charmed by the small wrist button and the 3 simple seams down the backs of the gloves. II am pleased that such a simple object brings pleasure to a deserving family member.I'm sure they serve very well as parade gloves, their designed purpose... . Sharp looking, precisely made, and affordable.

Have any old books printed before the adoption of acid-free paper? You might want a pair of these to help protect them when you page through your favorite oldies. Also great for handling old photos. These are just simple, thin cotton gloves with a little stitching on the top to give them a little verve. They fit as they should (I'm average, women's size 7 & bought a Medium) and they look like they'll easily stand up to a couple of washings. They also have a small plastic snap at the cuff, so the fit is form fitting & comfortable. Just what I needed!
