Purchased as a gift a really nice set that comes in nice packaging it also arrives with a set of four spare batteries the LEDs on the mirror and the torch are nice and bright a handy set for someone who works on cars or just like to potter around the house or shed. The magnetic reach tools are always handy as when you drop thing the don't just land on the floor they roll under or behind something so these make it easier to retrieve them.A great gift for anyone that's into DIY has a shed or works on a vehicle.

This is one of those tools where as a crafter you think " that looks like a handy thing to have " but then talk yourself out of buying it, but this time I didn't, all because I'm disabled and getting on in age ( but not saying how old ). Now, I don't know how or why but everything I touch seems to escape my cluches and fall to the floor, then, because of my disabilities I can't bend down to look for my cutting die, scissors, metal ruler etc, until now, finally I can see, reach and retrieve all these objects that want to drop to the floor and hide in out of the reach places. This Amazing gadget, which now is permanently on my desk, is with a turn of front part lights up I then extend it with one easy pulling motion and within seconds I've not only found my item with the light enabling me to see it, the strong magnet then cat has on to it then all I have to do is to lift it with no difficulty whatsoever as it's so light. YEAH!!! Wish I had bought this sooner.

Purchased for my nephew starting on a college course. Really nice looking kit and received by one very happy young man. Easy to use, functional and value for money. Apparently the perfect size.

This bit of kit is ok but the magnetic head is probably too large for the jobs I need it for. It's magnetism and pickup is pretty good, can't fault it there, but whoever designed the light part of it should be ashamed of themselves. Turning it on/off isn't a problem, but when it's off it feels loose, and indeed if you keep turning you open it up exposing the batteries/spring etc which is a really poor bit of design. The pick up part is quite large, much larger than I expected and indeed wanted, something I should've scrutinised before purchasing as I'll need to buy another, more appropriate tool for the job I need it for. This isn't a terrible tool by any means and will probably come in handy now and again but I found it quite disappointing in relation to my requirements.
