High germination rate - love the varieties
I struggle to grow plants, and have had some online purchased seeds fail to sprout at all - but these have almost all sprouted every seed planted. One variety was maybe 60% successful in sprouting, but even at that I will have more basil than I will know what to do with. For the other seven; it appears that only 1 seed didn’t sprout. I planted about 9-18 of each variety to start with, and considering that all of the varieties have produced something so far; granting five stars, despite the one being a little lower yield. My sprouts are only about an inch or so high; but can definitely see the differences in the varieties already. Definitely looking forward to getting to harvest fresh basil for cooking; and getting to taste some of the new (to me) varieties! Update January 2025 (original post July 2024) STILL enjoying the harvest of basil from that first planting. I usually just pull some of each variety to add to what I’m making - they have such a variety of flavor from one to the next, it really makes for a complex flavor profile. My favorite to do is use in Caprese salad and to top off my Asian soups with fresh leaves - YUM! I always meant to transplant them to an outdoor growing area; but am still just harvesting out of my window box as needed. Super pleased with this purchase! As I said - I can’t seem to grown anything and these have been successful!

Happy So Far. All Planted Seeds Are Now Growing!
I used these in my Aerogarden. All of the seeds I have planted are now growing. I will continue to monitor them. But, as of now, I am pleased with their growth. I love the variety of the pack as I make my own dry basil blend. Very promising.

So much variety
I can’t wait to try all the varieties, so far, I’ve tried the Thai basil and the Genovese basil. Really yummy!!
