Great color match for feathering of dent and scratch
Matched auto well, even after 9 years in the sun. Spray bottle allowed for feathering of scratched area. Used a dent puller and then painted area. Looks great.

Much Better than Touch-up Bottle
I scrapped the front spoiler of my car on a curb. Many white marks too deep to remove with scratch repair, rubbing compound, etc. I've used the small touch up bottles before for paint repair, but they are not smooth and leave obvious paint lines on the repair. Decided to do a full spray of 1/4 of the spoiler with Victory Red Dupli-Color. Before doing so I watched several videos on auto paint repair. A few points that stand out from the videos. Preparation is key. The paint area has to be degreased and absolutely clean. Light coats are better than heavy coats. You need to use primer and clear coat if you want a professional finish. To that end, I applied two coats of primer, four coats of paint, and two coats of clear coat. The color matched perfectly and from a distance you would not know the spoiler had been painted. Up close, the painted area is a bit higher in texture due to the 8 coats of primer, paint and clear, but I wanted to assure the paint would not peel, which is a common paint repair problem particularly on composite nonmetallic parts. If you want a smoother finish, a coat of primer, two coats of primer of paint and one or two coats of clear may work better. The paint itself is an exact match. I did not use Dupli-Color primer or clear, but rather a name brand substitute. This worked fine. If you decided to take on this project, make sure you have a respirator. This paint definitely has more fumes than regular spray paint. Also, paint on a day when you can keep you garage door open. I don't recommend spraying outside as this increases the chance of overspray. Mask off everything you don't want painted and tarp your floor as the spray will descend on a wide area of the floor. With a little bit of patience, work and adherence to directions, anyone can do this project. My guess for a body shop to do a similar project would be around $500, as they would remove the spoiler and likely paint the entire spoiler. Time and labor add up even on small repair projects. I know this from experience as the same car was t-boned by someone who ran a red light and the repair costs was $18,000, most of it body and paint related. I paid $40 for all paint and masking tape. Save yourself some money and do it yourself.

matches the color well and nice you can get it without waiting for a special paint match.
Good color match for my Mother-in-laws 1999 Civic. It had some failing clear coat and I wanted to make it look better on the hood/ABC Pillars. Dries pretty quick and I hope it lasts awhile. Always good luck with Dupli-color stuff.

Ruined brand new bumper
Do not bother with this paint. Did not come out as a spray. All it did was spit and splatter everywhere. Now I have to wait to see if the vendor will buy me a new bumper and fog lights covers. I bought a new bumper through Amazon and new fog light covers. I don’t know how to takeoff paint off plastic without scratching, scuffing up,and ruining the brand new bumper and fog light covers that I bought through Amazon. If not, then I have to pay a professional to do this. Part two: I received my refund for the 17 dollars and some change. But the Amazon associate that assist me 48 hours ago that supposedly was going to request restitution for my damage of my new bumper and fog lights never did the report. So today which is 48 hours later I'm on the phone with another Amazon associate trying to get this resolution. I have a feeling I'm going to be stuck with a splattered bumper. So Amazon associate came back on the phone stated that I have to wait another 48 hours for the seller to respond since the first associate did not send the photos and the email to the vendor. So now I get to call my mechanic again and push him off because I the customer did not get a resolution to what's going to happen with my bumper and fog lights and I have to wait until I get an answer or if I get a refund or I don't even know what. Do you know how hard it is to get into mechanic in the state of Florida! Just as hard as getting into a doctor's appointment. Latest update. Manager says it was my fault with the paint splattering all over the place. And they said I already got refunded for the $18. But it's my fault that now I have $150 worth of damages on their bumper and fog light covers that I got from them due to their paint that they sold me. They said the paint arrived to me with no damages. How did they know that. I explained to them for years I have bought spray paint for them and I never had issues and I never complain about anything I never sent anything back. But this one can spit everywhere and I'm at fault. So I could either spend money at a mechanics to get this paint off or buy a new set through them. So I canceled everything. I am no longer buying from amazon. When they call the customer the blamer of their default product, there is something wrong with the company. Money grubbing Chinese supporting company. They probably don't even like Americans.
