If you are looking for a product that will give you a sleek, natural shine that doesn't smell like a chemical bath and offers a hold that will last all day, search no more. I wear a side part, my hair is a 2 on the sides and medium length on top, and I have fine hair. It has been difficult to find the right pomade that doesn't reek and doesn't leave hair like a crunchy gel a few hours after application. I have tried both Pete & Pedro's pomades (they are OK but smell awful and leave your hair crunchy), and 1821's pomade, which is amazing but is very strongly scented and that gets old after awhile.However, this majestic product smells like a citrus goddess but doesn't overwhelm like 1821. It goes in extrmely easily, it's pretty forgiving and won't dry overly quickly like some pomades while you're styling. I would definitely recommend using it in on towel dried, still damp hair for the best results. I have never been so happy with a hair product and it's nice knowing my search for the perfect pomade is now complete. Thank you, Bona Fide. Your pomade is bonarific.

This stuff is amazing. It smells fantastic, goes on smoothly, holds like a champ, rinses out very easily, and restyles nicely with a bit of water. The smell is like a very manly orange smell - in the best way. The smell is what drove me to track it down. This is what my barber uses and I loved the smell every time I left the barber. The consistency allows for easy spreading and application without being too sticky and paste-y. Highly recommended.

I've tried soap brows and boy brows, and this is the only gel that locks my eyebrows in place. I like my brows bushy and lifted, and this does the trick without getting flaky or falling flat. It even holds through my bicycle commute in the Florida heat. I use a spoolie brush to comb it through my brows backward, and then I go upwards and fan it to dry faster. Although this feels like a lifetime supply now, I plan to repurchase it when it inevitably runs out.

Smells nice and it holds my thick hair well but its not that shine as they advertised once i put it in my hair its just looks dry no shine at all for the price i think suavecito pomade is better

If you hair is hard to manage, this is the stuff for you. Scent is nice, not super strong. Bona Fide makes the best pomade and this particular one is the only one that works on my very thick and hard to manage hair. You can style it using combs, brush or your hands and this will give you the exact right amount of hold you need. I use a very small amount when I want a more relaxed look and a bit more for a more defined look. My barber even asked me what I use on my hair because he was so impressed with the way it worked on my hair when styled. The shine is not super strong and not super matter; about middle and that is how I prefer it.

It is Bona Fide for sure! I see that there is a "Super" Superior Hold as well. That is my next pomade purchase. The hold is excellent. I am not a huge fan of any citrus scented shave or hair product, but Bona Fide has a very mild, light and clean scent. I have other pomades that I will use for the aroma (my personal preference) but I use Bona Fide for the hold. And like they claim, it is water based and will wash right out with only water. Great product! I am an amazon prime member so I had it in two days. Love it!

I usually use a cream or paste with a matte finish when styling my hair when I had noticed a person i followed on social media uses Bona Fide products. I went ahead and chose up this one. It does not disappoint. The smell of the product is amazing and it does an excellent job holdingthe hair in place. If it gets a little out of place you just need to wet your hair and style it back and bam it's good as you first put it on. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that wants to try something new or experience something amazing. You won't be disappointed. :)

I purchased this because I have really stubborn eyebrows and saw a few videos from influencers LOVING this product to create a laminated eyebrow look. Unfortunately it did not work out for me & my eyebrows are way too stubborn :(Product does wash off easily, smells great & is lightweight.
