Q: Are these firm and rigid, or do they flatten under your weight?

They are made from a firm plastic with a soft coating and give great support to the arch of your foot

I’m not too sure, maybe the larger ones. I’m size 4 so the small ones were ideal for me, I didn’t have your dilemma. I’m assuming the larger ones will be a bit longer rather than wider so shouldn’t be too much of a problem but I’d ask a few other people or contact the makers to be more accurate. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful.
