Big Trouble/Crew/Oscar

Got this for Oscar dvd. I love this movie and recommend it.

Oh for Heaven's sake, if you haven't seen these, please do!!! I grew up watching Oscar, and the cast is phenomenal. It is one of Stallone's treasures! I bought it because I no longer owned it on DVD, and needed to have it in my collection, but also, my fiance hadn't seen it. He loved it too! It helps he's Italian, and understands the historical humor riddled throughout, but we were crying from laughter together. It was so much fun introducing him to this classic!

We like that these movies are light and funny. Interesting to see Bert Reynolds as he has now passed on. Sylvester Stallone is very good in Oscar. Probably one of a few comedic roles he has starred in. We haven't seen "Big Trouble" yet.

Well, I tried to find a copy of the movie adaptation of Dave Barry's hilarious and riveting book, Big Trouble, and all I could find were ridiculously-expensive copies and this three-movie set. I remember many years ago watching each of the other two movies (The Crew and Oscar), in addition to Big Trouble, but neither were worth remembering to me - they are an added bonus for my purposes.Big Trouble has a very good cast of people. Many were little-known at the time, such as Sofia Vergara, Jason Lee, Ben Foster, Zooey Deschanel, and perhaps others. It is a goofy movie, and strays from the book in a few ways (but in ways that make sense for the film version), but it will make you crack up. Dennis Farina deadpans throughout the movie like his character did in Snatch.Any movie that has a character ask annoyingly, "was that a goat?" after encountering a goat on the freeway can't be bad.

I haven't watched the third movie, Big Trouble, but the others are great. I would've bought The Crew just for the cast, but it's really funny. Oscar is an all-time favorite at my house. The plot, the timing, the clever humor makes this one of the best movies I've ever seen. Sylvester Stallone may be best known for his action movies, but in my opinion, they don't hold a candle to Oscar. Plus, Oscar is pretty family friendly without being maudlin or dull. We already own Oscar on VHS, but our DVD collection just wasn't complete without it.

Worth it if only for "Big Trouble", one of my cult movies. Hilarious story, great actors and totally original. Highly recommended. I still haven't gotten around to watch the other 2 movies; "Oscar" seems like a retread of "Oscar" with Louis de Funès, and "The Crew" a forgettable movie, but I'm only supposing here.

i only bought this for the movie Oscar. i loved it when i saw it in the 80's and it was still just as funny now. it's Stallone has a funny side people just don't see but it's there. a great movie for the family to watch.

The Crew, and Big Trouble were worthwhile separately, but together, a great bargain.

We love the first and third movie and the middle one is a bonus for us.
