Our existing curtain rods (which came from a very popular Swedish furniture store) were literally falling out of the walls in our living room. They were installed poorly and just not hefty enough to hold our 12+ ft long curtains in our living room with vaulted ceilings.We shopped around and came across these brackets. We weren't looking to spend an arm and a leg on them, because at the end of the day no one really notices them. These guys are really strong compared to everything else we have seen at the local hardware stores. The plastic insert to clip onto the curtain rod is an amazing design feature. It secure the rods much better than the traditional screw, and they are almost invisible.We painted ours to match our curtain rods and finials. Our curtain rods are made out of 3/4" EMT tubing which has a nominal external diameter around 15/16" (just shy of 1") and they fit perfectly.We were so happy with them, we just bought another pack of them to do the kids bedrooms upstairs. :D

Brackets seem sturdy and well made and look nice, except for the brass colored screws that came with the black brackets. We wrote the seller asking about getting the black screws shown in the product picture (the product picture does show black screws that match and color of product says "black"), but were informed that the the seller had no control over what screw batches were placed with the brackets when an order was filled at the Amazon warehouse. Not sure why they don't have control over their own product, but they did respond quickly, apologized, and offered a refund. We like the brackets well enough and the price was good, and they fit the 3/4 electrical conduit pipe we are using for curtain rods perfectly, so we will probably keep them and just paint the screw heads. Would have given 5 stars if the product picture and description weren't misleading with the screw color.

It seems almost impossible to get a drapery rod sturdy enough for heavy, lined drapes and that will span our sliding door. After failed attempts at stiffening flimsy box store rods with wooden dowels, we purchased these brackets. They are very sturdy. When screwed into wood on each side of the slider, one pair is supporting 1 inch ID EMT pipe as a rod. The 1 inch pipe fits well in the brackets. Note: 3/4 inch EMT also fits.

Exactly what I was looking for to hold schedule 40 plastic plumbing piping in place. I use schedule 40 piping over copper curtain rods because I live in a seashore environment and everything corrodes or tarnishes. By removing the nylon inserts I was able to perfectly lay a schedule 40 pipe in the bracket. The brackets are sturdy aluminum. The mounting hardware that was included was stronger than I had anticipated with 2-in long screws. Looks like powder coating of white paint on the full aluminum bracket.

Exactly what I needed. Love that the rod Locks in place instead of having to screw and unscrew the typical little screws that usually come with this type of hardware.

Spend the extra money and get a nice set. The Philips screw hole was completely covered up so I used a different screw I had. I marked the holes on the wall using one of the brackets, drilled the holes, and added anchors. Come to find out the holes on the brackets done match and now I have to redo the holes completely. What a waste of time.

Much sturdier than the flimsy brackets that came with the curtain rods. The two supports add considerable strength. Kids pulling on the curtains just bent the original supports, so far they have not made any bends in these ones at all. Don;t bother installing the crappy ones that ship, buy these up front and do the job right.

I had created my own curtain rods out of 3/4 inch pvc pipe to meet my specifications and needed white brackets to hold them. I read other reviews on these curtain rod brackets and they seemed to fit my needs. They are awesome. Heavy duty, the plastic ‘inner ring’ holds the pvc pipe securely and they look well. They were also a good price compared to other brackets. Very happy with the purchase.

Very sturdy brackets for large poles and heavy curtains. The standard brackets I had in place were not up to the job when we switched to thicker curtains. I had looked everywhere, but these were the only brackets I could find which looked sturdy enough for the job. They arrived and I knew straight away that they would be great as very solid and a good structural design to hold weight. I was sceptical that the plastic pole holder would fit my large pole but sure enough they expand and hold the pole into place. Supplied fittings are good enough to hold the brackets in place. Easy to fit and so far the brackets are holding well. My only comment is that I ordered the white brackets and ideally they should be supplied with screw covers as they looked awful with the brass screws. Great product and only found on Amazon.

These are so much stronger than the ones that came with the curtain rods!!!!The brackets hold the curtain rail up very well and as my dog seems to lean on and pull the curtain over himself the old brackets would bend down and the curtains would trail on the floor. In the end the middle and end bracket was bent over and pushed back they ended up snapping. So i tried these ones and they fitted the curtain rail perfectly and there is no bending, they are very strong!!!

Used 3 of these brackets on a 4 metre 22mm Chrome pole, Really strong and holds the weight of the heavy curtains ,I did upgrade the screws and rawl plugs as the ones supplied could be better. Will be buying another set ASAP.

Bought these as needed some sturdy brackets for new heavy curtains. They are perfect for the job, really strong design and just what was required. Would definitely recommend as an upgrade to the standard brackets usually supplied with metal curtain poles.
