Rapsodo Mobile Launch Monitor for Golf Indoor and Outdoor Use with GPS Satellite View and Professional Level Accuracy, iPhone & iPad Only

This was a gift for my son. He has been using it since Christmas and thinks it is great. He took it to the driving range and used it alongside the monitors there. It was fairly accurate which is a bonus!

Great piece of kit. Very convenient & easy to use at either golf range or net practice. Captures the key metrics & shows a video of your swing a few seconds after, so great feedback as your working on your swing.Occasional misses a swing but generally pretty good.

I've previously owned the Voice Caddie SC200 and SC300 - returning the SC200 once I knew the newer and better version was being released. The SC200 was small and easy to carry and had a some basic stats and a scoring game included. When i then saw the SC300, I thought this would be much better and with the ability to link it to an App, it had a lot more potential to allow you to record and review.Initial thoughts of the SC300 were good, but there were no longer any scoring games included, so I only ended up using just the one Practice mode. Although this was ok, the whole use of the SC300 was a bit boring. I contacted their support but they seemed uninterested in any suggestions for changes.Having then owned the SC300 for just over a year, I caught sight of the MLM purely by accident and immediately liked the look of the functionality. Within a week, I had sold my SC300 and had the MLM.With the various lockdowns, I've only used the MLM twice. On both occasions, it picked up all bar one or two shots. The distances appear to be accurate too and in line with what i used to have with the SC300.There's an excellent scoring mode (single and multiplayer) included where you can pick a target and get a score based on how close you are. However, the single player doesn't currently score you, which seems pointless in a 'game mode'.I've contacted their Customer Support a few times over the last few weeks and they do seem genuine and interested in the feedback from customers.So my rating on 4 stars is due to a few small issues (it would be 4.5 out of 5)* Improve the single player game mode and let you have scores to beat* allow the current location to be saved whilst you are still at site. Currently, if you change between modes, you need to keep setting up the GPS and direction when changing. A 'use last location setting' function would resolve.* Additional modes/games to be added. LIke a Combine Test or a random distance generated game.The app has had a number of updates since I bought this in December so it suggests there are always improvements coming. Hopefully some of these will be addressed and I could happily give this 5 out of 5.

Once I had downloaded the app and connected to the device it worked immediately. I found it extremely easy to use, and missed only 2 shots in my first three sessions, both of which were semi-shanks by me that I wouldn’t want in the dataset anyway. Carry distances quoted were close to those I use on the course, so I believe it to be accurate. I will now use the device to practice half and three-quarter shots with my wedges so that I can control my distances better.As others have stated, the display is not easy to read in sunlight while you are standing several feet from it, but on a quiet range I had the Rapsodo calling out the details so I didn’t need to refer to the screen until I was changing clubs.

Really disappointed in this product, I purchased to use in my net in the garden, tried in multiple conditions, positions and lighting and still won’t give the correct readings, contacted the company and they just completely passed it off saying it “ Should “ work! Yet it doesn’t, I had to go away for business and now I’ve missed my cut off date to get a refund, I am extremely dissatisfied. Do not buy this product!

Loving this launch monitor. It’s easy to set up and use.Recording a video of every swing with ball tracer is such a great feature to have alongside all of the stats.Great product if you’re looking to improve your game.Just be sure to set the product up properly. I had an issue recording my driver shots. But this was my fault as I set the launch monitor up at the back of the driving range which was more then the recommended 6ft away from the ball.

Works ok but limited in its capture ability- swing videos are not great for analysis - showed some really strange & incorrect distances when used with a net.Somewhat disappointing in what you can get from it.

Great product so far!Been looking for a launch monitor for a while and kept comparing them online, in the end went for this one as it seemed to have the most features, recording your swing and shot tracing being the main one for me.It also helps you work out your normal distances and shot pattern which will help a lot when playing on the golf course.The MLM picks up most swings and is relatively easy to set up.It has definitely made going to the range more engaging and feels like an improvement to regular practice.Haven’t tried it in net mode yet but they release new updates regularly so I’m sure it will be fine for that.
