Absolutely love this!
I just received my new planner today. I have to say, I obsessed over this purchase. I compared and compared and compared different types and styles of planners for a few weeks. I really drove myself a little crazy trying to make sure I made the best choice. There are so many options in stores and on Amazon that it felt like such a daunting task. I finally had two top choices and blindly picked one (because I was tired of thinking about it). Let me just tell you, I could not have made a better choice. This is absolutely perfect for my needs. I already know that I will be ordering another one when this year is almost up. The rose gold edging with the grey cover is absolutely gorgeous. Some reviewers noted that their pages were stuck together from the rose gold 'paint' (and I was worried about that), but that isn't the case with mine at all. It arrived in perfect condition and I can flip pages easily. I love the size of the book. There is plenty of room to write, yet it can still fit into a purse or small bag with no problem. It is very light too! I love the hardcover...it's a nice sturdy surface that I can work on anywhere...this is just a very pretty planner. It looks sophisticated and yet fun at the same time. The pages are nice and thick...I know that my Staedtler triplus fineliner pens won't soak through. Even india ink or micron pens would work fine. I bet I could even do some light watercolor in here with no trouble. Also, I was worried that the 'Bk' logo was large on the front cover. But it actually is small (about half an inch I would say) on the bottom edge of the back side of the cover. It's non-obtrusive and i'm really appreciative of that. I will caution you on one thing though. The shrink wrapping is pretty tight and I had to use scissors to get it off. Unfortunately, my scissors skidded against the pretty rose gold edging of the papers and made quite a scar along the top of the book. I'm pretty bummed about that. However, it's nobody's fault except mine. So, caution, be careful when you open this. I can't wait to set up this pretty planner. I haven't been this excited about a planner in a long time. It's great to have the freedom of a bullet journal with the structure of a planner already in place. This is just perfect! Super happy with my purchase and so glad that I finally made the decision to purchase this one.

Perfect, No-Frills Planner
This planner is perfect, largely because of what it does NOT have. There are no sections already labeled as "To-Do List," "Weekly Goals," "Reflections," "Improvements," or "Meditations." It's not career or academics focused. It does not assume that you want to start your week with Sundays or Mondays. None of its pages are printed with inspirational slogans or religious devotions. Writing in the dates myself is a small price to pay in exchange for having a planner that avoids all of the nonsense above but still allows enough space for planning and writing. This is like a perfect hybrid of a weekly/monthly planner and an unstructured bullet journal. Each weekly spread has 8 equal spaces, so there is room for notes each week in addition to planning space for each day. I like that the monthly calendars are equally spaced throughout instead of grouped together at the beginning; it feels intuitive to me for planning purposes and for separating the weeks into months. I also like the blank pages at the end and the storage pocket inside the cover. There is plenty of space for tons of extras: habit trackers, budgets, notes, lists, but with the complete freedom that comes with empty pages. The ribbon bookmarks are nice as well, and there are two of them so it's easy to keep one on the current week and one on the month or on a frequently used page of notes at the back. The planner is also well made. I'm writing this toward the end of the year, and my planner has withstood being opened & closed & flipped through multiple times each day for nearly a year with no signs of wear & tear. The paper is smooth and pleasant to write on, and the gray grid lines are unobtrusive and will not clash with any of your inks or washi tapes. I mostly use gel ink pens or fountain pens and the only bleed-through was in a spot where I applied multiple heavy layers of metallic gel pen ink. I will probably buy this planner every year.

So close, but not perfect.
If the monthly pages had been grouped together at the beginning instead of being between the weeklies, this would be a solid 5-star product. However, having the monthlies separated by the weeklies is - for me - a fatal flaw. I was excited to receive this planner. It is beautifully made with a lovely smooth cover and metallic page edges. It is thoughtfully designed with two ribbon place-markers and a back pocket for small loose papers or items. I gave it three stars for how lovely it is. However, there is a big hangup that makes it unusable to me: the monthly calendars are separated by five weekly page layouts (rather than having all of the monthly layouts grouped together so that the weekly layouts can run continuously). This layout does not work for me because I want all my weekly layouts to start on the same day, and in order to do this some months will need six weekly layouts to capture all the days. For example, I like my weekly layouts to begin with Monday. March, August, and November 2020 won't fit into five weeks starting with Monday. No matter which day I pick to start the weeks, at least one month always needs more than 5 weekly layouts. Any way I slice it I'll have too few weeklies between the monthlies, too many weeklies between the monthlies, or just a lot of empty space on the weeklies. This may not bother others, but it will drive me nuts. I would not have purchased it if the description had made this part of the design clear. Update March 2020: Increasing my rating from 3 stars to 4. I bit the bullet and have been dealing with the obnoxious monthly/weekly groupings, and after using it for about eight months I am adding a star because this journal is otherwise PERFECT. It puts up with a lot of abuse (getting tossed between work bag/purse/book bag, knocked about by my little dudes, the occasional spill/splash/rain/Clorox wipe, and so on) and hasn't shown any sign of breaking down. The elastic band still holds like a champ, pages tolerate writing/erasing multiple times, the ribbon page markers are secure, and even the back pocket looks brand new. The whole thing still looks overall gorgeous, unlike other journals that start to look ragged after just a few weeks. I'm really impressed with how well-made it is. I still detest (abhor/despise/hate) the page groupings and wish they would put the monthlies all together at the front & let the weeks run continuously, but I now know I can tolerate it as a trade-off for a really quality journal that contains all the calendars and notes I need to make to keep my life from going haywire. Wish they would offer this grey/rose gold color scheme in the blank dot grid journal option and I would just create my own layout, but I will almost certainly purchase this one again. I'm that impressed with the beauty and durability of it. Seriously, this thing is lovely. Hey Bullet Keeper peeps - here's my wish list: - Group monthly calendar pages together instead of spaced between the weeklies (or offer this as an option) - Drop the "welcome" page near the front and replace it with an index or blank sheet - Add this grey & rose gold scheme to your line of dot grid journals - Keep up the amazing build quality!

Hands down fav
This is my favorite planner. I love the monthly overview followed by the weekly details. My favorite part is that it’s blank and that I can start at whichever month I’m at. It’s of great quality, too!

Only the necessities - well made
I have been using an undated Legend planner. The Legend planner is very fancy, created for someone who is a combination dreamer, journal lover, and scrapbooker, with lots of pages for guided reflections, diagramming, goal-setting and stickers. If that's your style, I recommend the Legend planner. However, if you are OCD, you may never get to the actual purpose of your planner, because you'll be spending hours and hours playing with the planner. That's why I love the BK undated planner. No fancy stickers except 12 stickers to create monthly tabs. No guided journaling or goal setting. Start in the middle of the year if you want. The weekly pages are directly behind the month, which is far more logical in my mind. There are lots of blank pages in the back which you can still use for dreaming, notes, etc. The book is also more compact which you can see in the attached photo. This is a no frills, practical planner that is sturdy. BK for the win.

Old 22/23 calendar page again 🫤
This is my second year buying this journal for bullet journaling purposes. I've been bullet journaling for about 7 years. I'm super busy and have no time for making calendars and weeklies at the moment, although I wish I did 😂 Pros: - It has premade undated calendars (with larger boxes!) and 5 weekly spreads after each one. - There are about 20 blank dotted page spreads in the back -The paper is nice - it has all the features like a back pocket, ribbons, pen loop, and elastic closure Cons: -Again I was disappointed this year the the calendar page in the back is dated for 2022 and 2023. So again this calendar page is useless. -it would be nice to have some blank dotted pages in the front of the book

Possibly the most functional planner I've used
I've used lots of planners in my career, and in the past couple of years have gravitated to the blank ones that allows you to fill in the dates and start and end your weeks when you want. (Mentally, you start on a Sunday and not a Monday? Great, fill it in the way you like.) Also handy if you take a vacation or skip a month of whatever it is you use the planner for. Just don't record the month and start the next section with whatever month you choose. Or, if you have multiple projects going, you can divide this into three concurrently running quarters and log your daily tasks in one book. Possibilities abound. It has enough room to log daily tasks (I use a sort of bullet method) and this allows for one area on an 8-grid spread for notes or doodles. At the end are a goodly amount of pages for plain journaling, lists, notes, drawings, whatever. There's a month's eye-view before the weekly spreads. It does have a pocket in the back for holding odds and ends along with last year's and this year's 12-month calendar spreads. It has two ribbons to mark your spots. Better than your typical blank Moleskine for daily planning, way better than huge spiral bound day planners in terms of portability, and way better than the "law of attraction" planners that are loaded with silly stickers and lots of space used for affirmations and such. I mean, those are fine, but if you don't need them, and just need a workhorse, friendly, practical planner, this is a great buy. Pretty sure this is the one I'll be sticking with for a while.
