Essential piece of kit for the professional or DIY carpenter. The holder is well designed and hooks the pencil securely when not in use. The pencil can be used while in the holder if required. Really handy to have a robust pencil fit marking through deep holes.

I was unsure if this was a good thing to buy but I shouldn’t have worried because this pencil is superb! It elongates , it is sharp and there is a built in sharpener if it starts becoming blunt. You won’t want another pencil for diy or professional work. I highly recommend this pencil.

Own a number of Tracer pencils which I do love but even though the quality isn’t as good as the aluminium series the size, grip of the lead, sharpener, ergonomics and shape for laying down and not rolling off is amazing. If you don’t have a pencil for jobs you need this. Also they have tons of colours of leads so very versatile.

I’ve had the tracer which broke after couple weeks of little use, so I gave these a try and after 1 year of constant heavy duty use and being squashed in my work trousers by rolling around on floors riddled with tools and and junk they are still going strong. I’ll never go back to another pen again!

After using other mechanical pencil such as the tracer one which kept sticking when pushing the button to extend the lead, I chose to try out this one. I found it much better quality and easier to use. The holster is really handy although the clips could do with being a little stronger but overall, it has outlasted the others. I will definitely buy this one again if needed.

Handy for deep holes

Being a tradesman this is an essential piece of kit. I am forever putting pencils down and losing/misplacing them. With the sharpener in the housing it makes it so easy to sharpen a blunted nib, and with the housing sheath having a clip on it also it enables the pencil to be clipped to a pocket or belt. Why didn’t I buy one of these earlier?
