I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 and I bought this cable to charge my battery on my desk at work. The cable seems to be made well and I like the length but it charges very slowly. You could just as easily use any standard micro USB cable which will charge it just as well... If you have nothing else then this fine for the price but I already had standard micro USB cables so it really was not worth purchasing... (the phone shows a message saying "The connected charger will take longer to charge. To charge faster, use the original charger and cable that were provided with this phone.")

I can plug my phone into the cable and hang the phone with out having to worry about the phone dropping off. Sturdy build and seems to be working great for all purposes.
