Works Exceptionally Well In Tight Spaces
I originally bought a larger fiberglass scratch brush to help get mold/mildew particles from between the marble tiles used in our shower stall. However the larger brush proved to be too large to effectively get into the thin grout edges that I had to work with, so I decided to try this "Extra Thin" model. It works perfectly! Since it is shaped like a regular pen, you adapt to it quickly and naturally. While some people seem to be bearing down on it too strongly, all you have to do is back off a little on the pressure and let the fiberglass do its job. Buyng the extra thin scratch brush refills is also a smart move. There are two other projects that I've used this tool for with great success. One is prepping scratches/chips on our cars. The small tip is perfect for getting inside the scratch/chip and evening out the surface. The other use I've found for this is to help remove small rust spots on my outdoor tools that may have picked up a little moisture. It's great for "erasing" rust spots and applying a little oil to the area keeps the rust from returning. Kudos to whomever developed this intricate tool. It solves problems that you never even knew you had!

Fine point. Works well on Ampersand Scratchboard and Claybord. Easy to refill.

This is the best - don't waste you money elsewhere
I bought one of the cheap Chinese knock offs, thinking I was going to save money. It fell apart in the first scratch. Instead, I bought this, even though it was more expensive. I was able to use this to restore an entire 40 year old PCB that solder refused to stick to, no matter what I used to clean it. It is absolutely perfect for this application. My only mild gripe is that the fiber bristles like to push back in, so be careful and apply your pressure laterally instead of up and down for best results. This is now an indispensable tool in my restoration toolbox.

Worked great for removing solder mask from a pcboard
I had a pcboard manufactured and screwed up the solder mask on one of the footprints, and needed to manually remove it. The key is to do so with something that's abrasive enough to remove the solder mask, but not sharp enough to damage the copper trace beneath. This brush worked great with a couple caveats:1) At 1/16" it's still pretty big. Something 1/32 would have been more appropriate to the footprint I was working on, though I think this product is about as small as they make them. I ended up taking off solder mask off of a larger area than was absolutely necessary.2) It tends to discharge fiberglass dust and slivers as you use it. This stuff will irritate skin, eyes, lungs, or anything else you have the misfortune of it coming in contact with. Make sure to use appropriate protection, and cleanup quickly after use. While some of the other reviews complained about the durability of the product, I really didn't find myself going through it very quickly. Granted, I did use it on a very small area. I'm happy with the product.

Works well
Use to clean sewing machine terminals and really does a good job. Wear gloves as it is a fiberglass tool.

Perfect for cleaning corroded terminals from leaking batteries
Let me get into several electronic items that the AA/AAA batteries leaked and caused corrosion on the terminals. Saved a laser level from the scrap heap. DON'T get the dust in your face/on you when you blow off the work, it's fiberglass, itchy and BAD news in your eyes or lungs. Tip is about 1/8in dia, great for small stuff. Like a mechanical pencil, you press the top button and the jaws open and let the bristles fall down to desired extension, release. Too long? Repeat and press bristles up a bit
