So far so good.
I just got it and used it a handful of times, but so far so good. I chose this one because it was aluminum, it was 60" wide, and had cross bars on the bottom (vs aluminum mesh on the bottom in some models). I saw other models that were cheaper, but were 50" wide, and the bottom was mesh which sagged with weight or was coming apart due to shoddy aluminum welding. This one, overall is quite sturdy and pieces are riveted together. Another nice thing with the cross bar bottom (vs mesh) is there are a number of hand holds for carrying it around, and when installed on the hitch, it's possible to slide your foot through a hole so you're not limited to just leaning over it to access stuff in the car's trunk. Another nice thing, is when installed on the hitch, there's enough space to stand between the car & carrier to access the trunk (but this might be vehicle & hitch placement dependent). The extra accessories I haven't used yet (the bag & stabilizer) but the cargo net is an elastic string netting that seems good quality, as is the tools that came with it (I was surprised & impressed with the quality of the included tools- might be seen as wasteful and extra shipping weight for someone who doesn't need the tools, but for me it was fine to have them to add to my toolbox). The carry bag looks to be of good quality, but I didn't know what to expect given the bundle, and haven't used it, I would probably be careful to avoid overfilling or abusing it. If you can use the carry bag, cargo net, and stabilizer piece- this cargo carrier doesn't end up being that much more than the cheaper carriers I saw out there. There is some set up time to put it together, but it's not bad. The one thing this doesn't do that many others do, is fold up. For me, it was not a deal breaker. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of construction so far. The attachment bar to the hitch is steel, which adds most of the weight (which I assume is unavoidable for the strength required). I wish it had a bit of an angle upward to give it a little more clearance. The included reflectors is nice- but fyi there's nothing on the sides, so I added my own reflector stickers. The pin holding the carrier to the hitch fits easily the attachment bar & my hitch independently..but when lining up the two pieces together, the pin is difficult to get in & difficult to get out (have to hammer it out). This might be more due to my particular hitch, and the hole not perfectly lining up. But I wish the included pin was a touch narrower to make this step much easier. Overall, I'm quite happy with this carrier & accessory combo.

Great Purchase
First time buying one of these for our Acura RDX and it's been incredible. Did a lot of research on the options. Pretty much always used for road trips and camping. It's very sturdy and the bag is massive: generator, small folding tables, folding chairs, hiking packs, sleeping bags and other gear with no problem. It's been through multiple rainstorms and is absolutely 100% waterproof. Some people mentioned rusty areas after awhile, and I get what they're saying, but it's just small areas. Use some Rust-Oleum or whatever and clean those areas. What did you expect when its subjected to harsh treatment? You have to take care of your things. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Good price
Best price on the market. Seems rugged to carry specified weight. Not difficult to assemble and can be easily disassembled for more compact storage.

Perfect fit for RV or automobile or even an ATV
After trying another hitch that had a simple mounting system that was unfortunately unable to be used because I didn't have enough distance between the panels of my camper and the bumper which is very important I didn't read the fine print. This worked perfectly with a separate adapter with 2 u bolts. It also has a stabilizer that you've mount so it keeps it from rattling and tipping from side to side I mount my generator on this and then I zip tied my power cord around my plumbing and bumper to run my generator it's nice and compact ready to use on my travel trailer I have a Coleman 17B lantern and this is perfect just get out pull the handle fire up the generator no matter where you are and you have all your amenities shower heat air conditioning microwave TV etc

NOT powder coated! Rusting like crazy!
Looks good from 20 feet away but welds are terrible and rusting in several dozens spots in just 2 days outdoors. If this is really powder coated it is a horrible job. I am gonna have to disassemble and coat in bed liner or this thing won’t last a year. UPDATE: Just a week later this things is rusting everywhere. Every morning there is a puddle of rust on my bed cover (it’s mounted on an over lander truck rack). Not only is it not powder coated, the inside of the exposed tubing is not coated at all. Raw metal. Water gets in the open tubing ends and partial welds, rusts, and pours out daily. Since it can’t be returned without a restocking fee, I have siliconed tubing caps on everywhere the tubing was left open. Next I will silicone caulk all the “butted” tubing gaps since the rust between them is astonishing. Then a full 2 coats of bed liner spray. So just know you need to spend $50 on this thing to make it last more than a year and not stain anything it sits over including your driveway or garage floor.
