Expensive but well worth it. The easiest and FASTEST way to keep your KICK from "skating" forward.
Something so simple and effective. I wish I had thought of it. Sure, it is not cheap, but what good drum MUST-HAVE accessory is? Couple this with a decent drum rug (if you get a "branded" drum rug like Zildjian or DW, expect to pay 2-3 times more) and it takes seconds to apply and remove. Velcro and a drum rug WORKS! Anything that makes set-up and tear down faster, better and easier gets my vote.

Great Product
Great quality and really holds my bass drum in place. I did have to switch drum rugs because mine didn’t hold Velcro very well but that’s not a fault with the product at all. Definitely worth the investment to keep your drums in place while also protecting the finish on them.

Carpet bass drum stopper!
Well what a gem here. If you are in a similar problem of "I lost my screws that hold down an electronic drumkit" you are in luck. This kick block (when used on carpet) will 100% stop the bass drum from moving on you! -1 star because this does not work on smooth surfaces at all. Quality is good. Grip is great on carpet. Have fun drumming!

Kick block
It does what the product says it will do and it keeps your pedal from walking.

Better than using sandbag.
Works well with electronic drum set.

It WORKS!
I originally thought it would be about the same weight of a similarly sized 2x4 piece of wood but it feels surprisingly light. Despite its weight, when I try to take it home from church it’s a struggle to get it off the carpet. I use it for two different types of heavy hitting. At church, we have a classic, very light, flat base snare stand that moves from its proper location to my lap in 1/4 of a song. With the kick block wedged between the two legs facing me, the basket goes nowhere. I also play for a college pep band where we have to hit extremely hard just to be heard WITH the support of a medium sized sound system. When we’re in the stands I use ratchet straps to keep the bass drum from flying off the scaffolding we play on. When we traveled, I used the kick block and even our hardest kicker had no issues with kick drum creep. Here are some of my cons what in no way outweigh the pros. It’s fairly large and just barely fits in the water bottle pocket of my large backpack. Where this is a struggle is when there’s limited depth space for the drum kit, however that may be where the pedal block may be a better solution. I’m sure many people have been in the situation where the kick is at the edge or a riser and their seat is at the edge of the other end and there’s just absolutely no space for it in scenarios like that. It also doesn’t do anything about left to right movement but that can be solved with a better kick drum pedal with Velcro on the bottom. Another issue is that I wish it was taller since we have to lower the kick at pep band but as it is it’s, just the right height to be portable so I understand why it isn’t. Overall, it’s a great product and if I can actually get my hands on one, I’d really like to see if the pedal blocks would fit my needs better.

Every drummer needs this
I have used weights , bass drum holders with spurs and all sorts of stuff but this working as it should . It just works . I have my set on a rub and this attaches to the run and the bass drum hasn’t moved since . A total game changer
