The Thirty-six Strategies Of Ancient China

Lessons in Ruthlessness!
This book is a tough read but it’s well worth the time invested. It makes a splendid companion piece to Sun Tzu’s Art of War. I recommend reading each story carefully and then highlighting the Protagonist and key words, and phrases then re-reading it. The heavy use of Chinese names make it a bit challenging at first to those who are not familiar with Chinese language. But you’ll gain a deep insight into Guerilla Warfare as it’s practiced in Ancient China and have a much deeper understanding of the Deviousness of the Mindset at work.

Great addition to the Art of War
I think this is a great book to read together with the Art of War. It provide real historic examples of the concepts in Sunzi's Art of War applied in warfare.

Nice book
36 stratagems works as an methodology to present problem solving skills. Good insight, however I felt it would better to add in Chinese pinyin to enhance the experience for readers.

Seems to cover the basics, not extremely enlightening or thorough.
Interesting enough...Still working on reading, and comprehending it.Not sure the substance of the book is all that enlightening, or thorough, for that matter. It would be nice to have a copy of this book ammended, in order to have more enlightening remarks on each tactic....and etc.

i would buy from them again
I don't want to have a limit on how many words I have to write in a review, that is one of the reasons I don't take the time to do these on amazon.com. I have a lot to write and I don't feel like writing lengthy reviews on each of them. there for don't expect me to write anything about your co.

Strategy is not tactics
These writings seem to be selected from Sun-tzu, Sun Bin, and Zhuge Liang; arguably some of the most brilliant military strategists in world history. The descriptions are clear and the examples germain. This book would be of value to anyone who would like to think "outside the box" for a while.
