Shake well and push down to start on a different surface than the label.
These are better than the chalk marker that came with the labels I ordered.

Perfect
These are perfect for riding on items going into the freezer. They are fine tip and full of ink. I definitely recommend!

Writes well but will not erase
Although these write well, the writing has not come off my blackboard when I use water, Windex, or other cleaning products. If anyone has had luck with something specific, that would be helpful since I have a beautiful chalkboard that isn't usable now. Thank you!
